Thanks for watching our Bruce Peninsula camping, Tobermory Grotto, Sauble beach vlog :) Subscribe if you haven't already! Drove 6 and a half from Kingston over to the Bruce Peninsula, camped on Cyprus Lake, checked out the grotto! Super nice place, the water was so clear. Those boys were doing flips of the 50 - 60 foot ledge, I wanted to try just jumping off of it but it was too scary fo me. Saw so many snakes, ate some salad, struggled to open a beer. On our drive back we stopped in at Sauble beach which was super fun.
Just a little geographic context, the Bruce Peninsula is 4 hours north of Toronto Ontario and seperate the Georgian Bay from Lake Huron. We camped on Cyprus Lake which is in Bruce Peninsula National Park and Tobermory is a small town adjacent to the park. Sauble Beach is 1 hour south of Tobermory on Lake Huron :)

The Grotto is a scenic cave containing a pool of blue/green water located on the Georgian Bay shoreline in Bruce Peninsula National Park, near Tobermory, Ontario. The Grotto is a popular attraction and very busy during the summer and on long weekends.
When to visit:
The peak busy season for Bruce Peninsula National Park is summer – July, August and on holiday weekends. At those times, you can expect traffic, long wait times and full parking lots. Reserve your Grotto parking in advance to avoid disappointment.

Tobermory and the Bruce Peninsula are gorgeous destinations in Canada and offer some of the clearest water in the world, with places like the Grotto, Indian Head Cove and Flowerpot Island. For many years I've heard rumors of a paradise north of Toronto, so last weekend I decided to go check it out. Tobermory and the Bruce Peninsula are gorgeous destinations in Canada and offer some of the clearest water in the world with visibility that easily reaches depths up to 25 meters.

The 4-hour drive can be a bit steep but luckily it is a comfortable drive with many valley's and towns on the way to keep you inspired. Crucial things to consider are: bring enough gas (there are not many gas stations on the peninsula), bring swim-gear/scuba gear & bring crocks.

Best fish & chips in Canada.
3. Flowerpot Island
Raw nature at its finest, you may find snakes & large spiders on this island.
4. The Grotto
The gem on the peninsula with a hidden underwater tunnel.

Gorgeous rough coastline and popular tourist attraction.
The 5 best kept secrets in Tobermory that I listed are not in chronological order but I do consider the shipwreck diving as a definite hightlight! But I'd like to remind you that advanced swimming skills are required.

At Flowerpot Island we ran into many clean-cut shaped rocks, now I have a small obsession with archeology and especially with the Yonaguni monument which some consider a man-made structure and lies deep in the east china sea off the coast of Taiwan. It is estimated to be more than 10,000 years old making it the oldest man-made structure in the world if the theory holds true, but after seeing these clean-cut slabs I start to think that Yonaguni may actually be a natural phenomenon, if you are interested,watch the documentary by Graham Hancock.
With Yonaguni being a little off topic, I do like to stress my fellow Canadians to at least make this trip once in your lifetime to really get an idea of what the province of Ontario has to offer.

We hiked to the Grotto in Cypress Lake near Tobermory. Easy hike. Busy place but we had fun! We hiked through the area and found a sweet swimming spot. We also found some caves by swimming.

Our Adventure in Tobermory!
We finally went to Tobermory for the first time! We were actually in the Bruce Peninsula National Park. We camped at the Cyprus Lake Campground, and hiked to the Indian Head Cove and The Grotto to swim and cliff jump. The cliffs and water were amazing! Swimming Underwater Tunnel at The Grotto
I and my daughter travelled to Cyprus Lake to swim underwater passage (tunnel) at the Grotto on the Bruce Peninsula near Tobermory (Canada) on August 2, 2012.
We swam few times and enjoyed it, albeit it was not easy.
MOST BEAUTIFUL PLACE IN CANADA!! Bruce Peninsula and Grotto, Tobermory || Ontario, CANADA
We found the most beautiful water in Canada. It's the Caribbean of Canada, just with freezing cold water. We got to swim in a GROTTO and hiked to the most beautiful places. We found an amazing Airbnb in southwestern Ontario that was so peaceful and great for the kids. The Bruce Peninsula and Tobermory area is definitely one of the most beautiful places we've ever been to. This was an amazing adventure and we can't wait to come back and see and do more. We LOVE you Canada!!

Tobermory and The Grotto (4K)
Tobermory is a harbour village on the Bruce Peninsula in the province of Ontario. Just southeast, Bruce Peninsula National Park is known for the Bruce Trail footpath on the craggy Niagara Escarpment, and the Grotto, a wave-carved cave in Georgian Bay. The village lies next to Fathom Five National Marine Park, which is home to the Flowerpot Island sea stacks, 19th-century lighthouses and multiple shipwreck dive sites.

I was born and raised in a small country called Bulgaria but moved to Canada when i was about 13... I've been into video games since I can remember, and I finally decided to make a YouTube channel where I can share my tips, tricks, game-plays, and also other stuff that relate to gaming. Every now and then I also post Vlog's and other videos that might interest you... At the moment my goal is to reach 100,000 subscribers and so far it has been an uphill struggle.
