Magical Garden Light installation & Medusa - Signal Festival Prague 2015.
Magical Garden was created by the Finnish master of moving light effects. This installation on Střelecký Ostrov is based on dynamic lighting, strong colours, and a meditative tempo, which together form an intense atmosphere that penetrates even the farthest corners of Prague.
The playful and thematically eased Medusa installation is transforming the Petřín Lookout Tower into a giant aquatic creature, whose bright tentacles wave and suck at their surroundings. This is all made possible by twelve Bright Multi-Functional Light (BMFL) from ROBE lighting, a company involved in manufacturing quality moving light equipment.

Prague (Day 3) - Malayalam vlog about Prague, the picture perfect city (പ്രാഗ്, ചെക് റിപ്പബ്ലിക്ക്)
Prague, capital city of the Czech Republic. We visited the city for 3 days. It is a beautiful city which I would say must see. The third day, we concluded our trip by visiting Petřín gardens, Petřín Tower and Lennon wall
Prague is home to a number of well-known cultural attractions, many of which survived the violence and destruction of 20th-century Europe. Main attractions include Prague Castle, Charles Bridge, Old Town Square with the Prague astronomical clock, the Jewish Quarter, Petřín hill and Vyšehrad.
1. Petřín Hill is one of the largest urban green areas and its slopes are an oasis of calm in the center of Prague. The Rose Garden, or rosarium, at the top of Petrin Hill, Nebozízek Garden and the Seminary Garden with more than 2,100 fruit trees are particularly magical. A favourite destination for families with children and couples in love. The easiest way to reach the top of the hill is with the funicular.
2. Petřín Lookout Tower, one of the most prominent landmarks of Prague, was built as part of the Jubilee Exhibition in 1891 as a loose copy inspired by the Eiffel Tower (at a ratio of 1:5). It is 63.5 metres high, and 299 steps lead to its peak, which is at the same altitude as the real Eiffel Tower.
3. Lennon wall: After his murder on 8 December 1980, John Lennon became a pacifist hero for many young Czechs. An image of Lennon was painted on a wall in a secluded square opposite the French embassy, along with political graffiti and occasionally Beatles lyrics. Despite repeated coats of whitewash, the secret police never managed to keep it clean for long, and the Lennon Wall became a political focus for Prague youth. Tourists visiting Prague never misses this landmark.
After having ice cream from a famous ice cream place in Prague and some souvenir shopping, we returned to Paris.
You can find the ice cream place here
Prague (Day 2) - Malayalam vlog about Prague, the picture perfect city (പ്രാഗ്, ചെക് റിപ്പബ്ലിക്ക്)
Prague, capital city of the Czech Republic. We visited the city for 3 days. It is a beautiful city which I would say must see. The second day, we covered Old town square, Astronomical clock (Prague Orloj), Paternoster lift at Prague city hall, Prague municipal library, Head statue of Franz Kafka, Letna hill, Dancing House, etc.
1. Old Town Square: The most significant square of historical Prague, it was founded in the 12th century and has been witness to many historical events. In addition to the Old Town Hall and the Church of Our Lady before Týn, the square is dominated by the Baroque Church of St Nicholas, the Rococo Kinský Palace, the Gothic House at the Stone Bell and the monument to Jan Hus. In the pavement of the square are memorial stones marking the execution of 27 Czech lords in 1621, and the Prague meridian. It is so beautiful that it makes the city must visit.
2. Astronomical Clock (Prague Orloj): It is a medieval astronomical clock located in Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic. The clock was first installed in 1410, making it the third-oldest astronomical clock in the world and the oldest clock still operating.
3. Paternoster lift: An elevator with no door that doesn’t stop or slow down sounds like a sci-fi nightmare. A slightly weird and fun thing to do is to keep riding the lift while it reaches the bottom or top floor, where it shakes and rumbles, goes very dark, and moves sideways, which is an interesting experience! By definition these things are not accessible to people with disabilities - you have to be fairly quick on the mark to jump in and jump off!
4. Dancing House: a highly original building resembling and also inspired by two dancers – the immortally famous duo of Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers.
5. Head statue of Franz Kafka: Open 24 hours.
6. Letna Hill: To capture a full beautiful view of Prague during sunset.

The Old Town Hall with the famous Prague Astronomical Clock. The winding lanes of the Jewish Quarter, which you know from the novels of Franz Kafka, steeped in the legend of the Golem. Cafes enticing you to come and have a seat, boutiques and sight-seeing cruises on the Vltava. The Gothic Charles Bridge and Church of St. Nicholas in the Lesser Town, the most beautiful Baroque church in Prague. The Palace Gardens set away from the bustle of the city, Petřín with a lookout tower reminiscent of a small Eiffel Tower and Prague Castle … Each of Prague’s districts has its own characteristic atmosphere and unique charm. Prague presents itself to you as a changeable city, which likes to alternate styles: it is romantic and successful, ancient and modern, but above all it is a city that is cosmopolitan through and through, and is used to welcoming foreigners. It is time to get acquainted.
Prague (Praha in Czech) was once the seat of a mighty empire, the ancient capital of Charles IV's Bohemian Kingdom. The city has played a pivotal role in Central Europe since the Middle Ages.
The epic history of Prague has produced a beautiful city, full of stunning buildings and majestic squares.
Tourism has driven the regeneration of Prague, transforming run down buildings into fine restaurants, vibrant bars and stylish hotels.
Prague Tourism Fact: In 1992 the historical centre of Prague, all 866 hectares, was listed in the UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage Register.
Prague has a compact city centre. From Wenceslas Square on one side to Prague Castle on the other is just a 25-30 minutes stroll (walking via the Old Town, across Charles Bridge and through the Lesser Town).
With many of the finest areas also pedestrianised, the city is effectively an open air museum, and the sights & attractions therefore are best explored on foot.
Opera and classical concerts are a definite highlight of Prague, with performances held all year round in magnificent opera houses and a range of stunning concert halls and historic churches.
The black light theatre shows are also unique.

Prague restaurants enjoy a reputation for serving good, often excellent cuisine, and many offer the opportunity to dine in lovely settings; these range from intimate cellar restaurants to rooftop restaurants with views over the city.
For refreshment at any time of the day, the world famous Czech beer is deeply embedded in the national physique and is enthusiastically consumed in cafés and bars all over the city; the Czechs are the largest consumers of beer per capita in the world!
Another well-known export of the Czech Republic is Bohemia Crystal. Visitors can purchase the finest glass products in shops in Prague or go on a tour to a glass factory, such as to Moser Glass, to see it being made.

Petrin Hill Prague. Czech republic.
