Santa Ana Mountains Cleveland National Forest Lake Elsinore California
The Santa Ana Mountains are a short peninsular mountain range along the coast of Southern California in the United States. They extend for approximately 61 miles (98 km) southeast of the Los Angeles Basin largely along the border between Orange and Riverside counties. The Santa Ana River flows through the northern part. Santiago Peak at 1734 meters is the highest point located northwest of Lake Elsinore, from where this video was filmed. There are year round streams with water in the higher parts of the mountain range. The mountains were named by the expedition of Spanish explorer Gaspar de Portolà. The indigenous peoples that lived in this region were the Tongva in the north, the Acjachemen in the west and Payomkowishum in the east and south. Mountain Lion, Black Bear, deer, coyotes, lizards, rattlesnakes, and many other species of animales as well as plants live here. Even Grizzly Bears lived here in times past. Te Mountains are ringed by urbanity with Lake Elsinore on the east, Corona, Norco , Chino and Chino Hills California on the north. Yorba Linda, Tustin, Irvine, Lake Forest, and Mission Viejo on the west. Wildomar, Murrieta, San Juan Capistrano and Camp Pendleton Military Base on the south. facebook.com/rishayan

The band rose to fame with their 1999 debut album Wisconsin Death Trip where the band's heavy industrial metal sound found attention within the burgeoning nu metal movement of the late 1990s, with the album eventually going platinum in the United States.

California firefighters struggle with big wildfire
(2 Nov 2019) Firefighters struggled Friday to contain a big Southern California wildfire amid shifting winds, forcing authorities to expand evacuations as forecasters extended fire weather warnings into the weekend.
The blaze dubbed the Maria Fire erupted late Thursday northwest of Los Angeles during what had been expected to be the tail end of a siege of Santa Ana winds that fanned destructively across the region, but a tug-of-war developed between those offshore gusts and the return of some onshore flow from the ocean.
Juan Ortega, whose Santa Paula ranch land got scorched by the fire, says he had to relocate dozens of horses that belong to him and his friends.
Ortega surveyed the damage done to his sheds and trailers breathing in fetid, smoky air as fire attack helicopters buzzed nearby picking up water from the reservoir. Old jeeps and sedans blackened, melted and destroyed now litter the location Ortega used as their parking lot.
His friend Carlos Arambula said his family is helping keep some of the horses that were on the land, at their ranch which is out of the path of the fire. Arambula thought their stables were now bursting with close to 50 stallions and mares.
The fire burned down the sides of a mountain bordered by agricultural land, the small city of Santa Paula and other communities as it grew to about 14 square miles (36 square kilometers). Airplanes tried to flank it with long drops of retardant while helicopters dropped loads of water.
Some 8,000 people were under evacuation orders and 2,300 structures were threatened, Sheriff Bill Ayub said.
Red Flag warnings for gusts and very low humidity levels had been expected to expire Friday evening but forecasters extended them to 6 p.m. Saturday for valleys and interior mountains of Ventura and Los Angeles counties, citing the withering conditions.

The observatory is a popular tourist attraction with an extensive array of space- and science-related displays.
Admission to the building and grounds of Griffith Observatory is free of charge, excluding some of the shows for a minimal price at the planetarium. The Observatory is open five days a week. There is a small parking lot next to the Observatory. Additional parking is along the steep road leading up to the observatory. Parking is free of charge.
There are photo opportunities and scenery at and around the Observatory, with views of the Pacific Ocean, the Hollywood Sign and Downtown Los Angeles. Ideal for tourist destination, field trips, dates and outings with the family and friends.
About a little more than two years ago I had the first date with my now ex-girlfriend there. Towards the end of the video I am showing the spot where we had our date and ate vegetarian sandwhiches. The sandwhiches were not that great. Even she thought so.
