Organized Crime Winery Beamsville Bench Niagara Peninsula
This is a small winery that produces their wines as much as possible by hand. The aim is for attention to detail and a resulting high quality product. When we were there they were very busy and looked very much like there was no recession affecting them.
The name is inspired from a true story about a feud between two Mennonite parishes in the region that ended in the 1930s with members of one group robbing the other's pipe organ and dumping it in a river

Aure Wines Niagara Peninsula (Beamsville Bench)
This winery is located at the top of the Niagara Escarpment (Although it didn't feel like it.
It looked more like just up the road when driving there) We tried the BIstro. It was small and intimate. The service was friendly and the lunch we had was great. This all comes at a very reasonable price. A definite go back again experience

Crown Bench Estate Winery Niagara Peninsula
This winery offers not only excellent table wines, but clever niche products. Two which our attemtion were Hot Ice, an ice wine which has a Wasabi spiciness to it is used as a perfect match to sushi or sashimi. Verjus is a wine based salad dressing substitute which was hss been used from the 1500's. It tastes great on it's own as an apperitif. This is a composite edit over several years. .
