Ga. Rob & Terrie (& Zack) Hiking Bryce Canyon in Southern Utah!
5/8/14 As my job of 19 years was coming to an end, I decided I wanted to go somewhere I'd never been. We (Terrie and my youngest, Zack) ended up in southern Utah. We spent time in Moab and went to Arches National park, Then made stops at Canyon lands, Bryce Canyon & Zion. This is a short video from our hike in Bryce Canyon. It was an AMAZING Trip!
Zion, Bryce, and Grand Canyon National Parks
A photographic slideshow of several of America's southwestern national parks: Zion, Bryce Canyon, Coral Pink Sand Dunes, the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, and everywhere in between. Utah itself is home to 5 national parks and many state parks. From rocky desert to snow capped mountains, Utah has some of the most dramatic landscapes of the entire country!
Photographs taken with 35 mm Canon Camera and an iPod Touch 5th generation camera.
Please enjoy, and thanks for watching!

ZION AND BRYCE CANYON NATIONAL PARKS IN ONE DAY!
We only had one day in Zion National Park before we had to head to Bryce Canyon National Park, so we did a quick driving tour and then headed up into the canyon to do lunch and a quick hike to the Emerald Pools. I think the kids liked the drive the best. :)
Then, we were off to Bryce Canyon National Park for a couple days. Grabbed dinner at the Bryce Canyon Lodge and hiked out to the canyon rim to see the hoodoo for the first time. It was truly breath-taking!
Bryce Canyon National Park
Bryce Canyon National Park /ˈbraɪs/ is a National Park located in southwestern Utah in the United States. The major feature of the park is Bryce Canyon, which despite its name, is not a canyon, but a collection of giant natural amphitheaters along the eastern side of the Paunsaugunt Plateau. Bryce is distinctive due to geological structures called hoodoos, formed by frost weathering and stream erosion of the river and lake bed sedimentary rocks. The red, orange, and white colors of the rocks provide spectacular views for park visitors. Bryce sits at a much higher elevation than nearby Zion National Park. The rim at Bryce varies from 8,000 to 9,000 feet (2,400 to 2,700 m).
The Bryce Canyon area was settled by Mormon pioneers in the 1850s and was named after Ebenezer Bryce, who homesteaded in the area in 1874. The area around Bryce Canyon became a National Monument in 1923 and was designated as a National Park in 1928. The park covers 35,835 acres (55.992 sq mi; 14,502 ha; 145.02 km2) and receives relatively few visitors compared to Zion National Park and the Grand Canyon, largely due to its remote location.
Zion National Park
Zion National Park is located in the Southwestern United States, near Springdale, Utah. A prominent feature of the 229-square-mile (590 km2) park is Zion Canyon, which is 15 miles (24 km) long and up to half a mile (800 m) deep, cut through the reddish and tan-colored Navajo Sandstone by the North Fork of the Virgin River. The lowest elevation is 3,666 ft (1,117 m) at Coalpits Wash and the highest elevation is 8,726 ft (2,660 m) at Horse Ranch Mountain. Located at the junction of the Colorado Plateau, Great Basin, and Mojave Desert regions, the park's unique geography and variety of life zones allow for unusual plant and animal diversity. Numerous plant species as well as 289 species of birds, 75 mammals (including 19 species of bat), and 32 reptiles inhabit the park's four life zones: desert, riparian, woodland, and coniferous forest. Zion National Park includes mountains, canyons, buttes, mesas, monoliths, rivers, slot canyons, and natural arches.
The geology of the Zion and Kolob canyons area includes nine formations that together represent 150 million years of mostly Mesozoic-aged sedimentation. At various periods in that time warm, shallow seas, streams, ponds and lakes, vast deserts, and dry near-shore environments covered the area. Uplift associated with the creation of the Colorado Plateaus lifted the region 10,000 feet (3,000 m) starting 13 million years ago.

HELE: Utah
On the Fourth of July Weekend of 2014 Ernesto Ruiz, Thomas J Villafuerte, and myself left at 4AM to explore the Beehive State. It was an adventurous three days which included visits to two of our National Parks (Zion & Bryce Canyon). We biked, hiked, took a mud bath (thanks to recent thunderstorms), did a lot of driving, sweated our a$$es off in the middle of night, and for the first time ever did some canyoneering. HELE!

Motorcycle World Tour, Episode 17 - Zion, Bryce Canyon and Goblin park in Utah
On our way through Utah we were astonished by the national and state parks.
Zion national park stunned us with it's large colorful cliffs and beautiful road through the park.
Bryce Canyon national Park offered incredible views from a snow covered cliff over the vast canyon.
The rock formations in the Goblin state park were simply put from another world.
What an incredible trip it has been and we hope you can enjoy our footage from this incredible state. Stay tuned for more parks in Utah and Arizona as well as more adventures from us!

A Waterfall in Bryce Canyon National Park?
A Waterfall in Bryce Canyon National Park?
In this quick Adventure video we explore in and around Bryce Canyon National Park. This short montage is a combination of a couple days of exploring the park. Did you know that there is a secret waterfall in Bryce? Neither did we! Well, maybe it's not secret, but it is certainly lesser known. Bryce Canyon National Park is so famous for it's canyon side that not many people know about Mossy Cave and Calf Creek Falls. They are worth a visit though!
Calf creek falls is actually not a natural waterfall and is the result of Mormon Pioneers digging the Tropic Ditch to bring water to the scorched valley of Tropic, Utah over the mountains on the other side of the park! It's a cool piece of history and a beautiful destination to add to your visit to Bryce National Park.
This far into our Travels in Southern Utah most of the family was pretty tuckered out with hiking, so we didn't explore as far and wide as we usually do. We only hiked the Mossy Cave trail. Most of our visit to the canyon side of Bryce was just driving and going to overlooks, while the kids did their Junior Ranger books. It was still a treat though to take in the sights and sounds of such a fantastic place!

Bryce Canyon Lodge, Two Queen Bed Room Review/Walkthru , Utah 2018
A video showing what the rooms look like(room 212) at Bryce Canyon Lodge. Bryce Canyon National Park, Utah. Located just a steps away from the actual rim of the canyon and the mystical Hoodoos.(None of the rooms have an actual view of the canyon) And the buildings DO NOT have elevators, making getting your luggage to a 2nd floor room a chore.
