This was the first half of our film 'West coast Scotland Golf Links' which was uploaded onto YouTube while ago. Then we saw the copyright notice last year. There were 2 audio for the background music and we have asked if YouTube could tell us which one. For a year we have sent emails, a fax, a letter and have received no response. So we have decided to upload this one to see what would happen. By the way, we believe we have the right for both.

The Askernish Open is now the largest Open Golf Competition in the North of Scotland, as well as being one of the remotest. John Morrison presents 'Spòrs na Seachdain' live from the event, including Club Captain Patrick Forbes firing off the first ball with a set of hickory clubs which were discovered on the course during its renovation. Players and organisers regale their passion for both golf and the course. The North Uist Athletics Association celebrate their 21st anniversary and alongside local sporting events we hear from the Johnny Walker Championships at Gleneagles, the latest Scottish Football and Shinty stories.

Role reverse
When driving on narrow roads, you need to have common sense. Sometimes you might actually need to reverse - it's a fact. The observant viewer will notice that there is a passing place well before I came to a halt in front of this hapless driver. Whilst it's undoubtedly true that I COULD have reversed - it's also true that in these situations, I seem to be the one compelled to do so because the other driver can't/won't. But that's only 98% of the time, so for the other 2%, and at some risk of starvation whilst waiting, I think I'll let them have a go for a change. That's fair - surely?

The Isle of Iona plays an important role in the history of christianity. Iona Abbey can be visited and tickets are bought on the island.
There are some amazing beaches on Iona and we look at a few of these, as well as Dun I the island's highest point.
