Background:
Next JA will be held on Autumn 2021, because we will not able to use the
venue at Tokyo area on 2020. The Tokyo Big Sight will be used to International Broadcasting Center and Media Center for Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2020. The venue near Tokyo will be occupied as Olympicand Paralympic Games facility until end of November 2020. Because of thisreason, we will hold the next JA on 2021.
And, the next exhibition of JA2021 will be held on 2024, because we would like to be back the year of exhibition to the even year. The year of 2024 will be the 70th anniversary of Japan Air Self-Defense Force. Our office is planning the anniversary event in JA2024 with JASDF.
Japan 2010: Tokyo Big Sight at Night...
Again, I apologize for the poor video quality, my camera suck in the dark. You can still see Tokyo Big Sight and how big it is. I was standing a few hundred meters from it.
A long walk through Tokyo's Koto ward.
I shot this footage just over a year ago but before I could edit it, my head injury happened. Then as life continued through my long recovery and into my new job, I ended up just never getting around to cutting it together... till now.
So join me on a long walk through an unremarkable part of an unremarkable ward in the world's most populous city that no other YouTuber would bother going to.

The Tokyo International Exhibition Center opened in 1996 in Ariake, Koto-ku in Tokyo Bay. The Conference Tower is the most iconic part of the complex and consists of four inverted pyramids (see images above). There is also the West Exhibition Hall, the East Exhibition Hall and both an Outdoor Exhibition Area and Rooftop Exhibition Area, both overlooking the waterfront.
The Conference Tower has a huge, 1100-seat reception hall and various large exhibition areas and conference rooms. The West Exhibition Hall has four internal halls surrounding a central atrium. The East Exhibition Hall has massive 600m-long galleria with moving walkways, as in an airport, to speed visitors through the glass-roofed space, where the roof can be managed to control the amount of sunlight entering below.
The grounds of Tokyo Big Sight also have various works of modern art by such artists as Emiko Kasahara and Claes Oldenburg & Coosje Van Bruggen.
The entire Tokyo Big Sight complex has a number of restaurants, coffee shops, a convenience store and a service corner selling Big Sight goods.

Odaiba 2012 (Gundam-Liberty-Palette Town-Tokyo Big Sight)
Odaiba beach is the closest beach from Tokyo downtown, and many events are held here. Odaiba is not just a beach; it also has entertainments: like shopping, amusement spot, and restaurant. Japanese loves convenience. Convenience Store is conveniently located right next to the beach. There is a world famous statue of liberty in Odaiba, too. Japanese largest TV Station is also here in Odaiba. Tourist info: Odaiba (sometimes known as Daiba and sometimes referred to as the Tokyo Teleport Town) is a large artificial island in Tokyo Bay, Japan. Access: 0. at Tokyo Station 1. use Yamanote (JR) to Shinbashi (3 min.) 2. use Yurikamome to Odaiba Kaihin Koen (13 min.) Odaiba is a large artificial island in Tokyo Bay, Japan, across the Rainbow Bridge from central Tokyo. It was initially built for defensive purposes in the 1800s, dramatically expanded during the late 20th century as a seaport district, and has developed since the 1990s as a major commercial, residential and leisure area. Daiba formally refers to one district of the island development in Minato City. The Odaiba name is commonly used to refer to the entire Tokyo Waterfront Secondary City Center which includes the Ariake and Aomi districts of Koto City and the Higashi-Yashio district of Shinagawa City. Odaiba was originally constructed in 1853 by the Tokugawa shogunate as a series of 6 fortresses in order to protect Tokyo from attack by sea, the primary threat being Commodore Matthew Perry's Black Ships, which had arrived in the same year. Daiba in Japanese refers to the cannon batteries placed on the islands. In 1928, the 3rd daiba was refurbished and opened to the public as park, which remains open to this day. The modern redevelopment of Odaiba started after the success of Expo '85 in Tsukuba. The Japanese economy was riding high, and Odaiba was to be a showcase as futuristic living, built at a cost of over $10 billion. Unfortunately, the bubble economy burst in 1991, and by 1995 Odaiba was a virtual wasteland, underpopulated and full of vacant lots. In 1996, the area was rezoned from pure business to allow also commercial and entertainment districts, and the area started coming back to life as Tokyo discovered the seaside it never had. Hotels and shopping malls opened up, several large companies (including Fuji TV) moved their headquarters to the island, and transportation links improved.
