Tokyo Gate Bridge - 東京ゲートブリッジ - 4K Ultra HD
Bridging Tokyo Bay, Koto and the man made island Wakasu, the Tokyo Gate Bridge was first opened in February 2012. Also called the “Dinosaur Bridge” due to its unusual shape, the Tokyo Gate Bridge is a 2.6km long truss bridge which allow, around 32,000 vehicles daily to cross one part of Tokyo to another.
The Tokyo Gate Bridge is also trying its best to reduce its footprint on the environment by using LED lights and solar powered generators and batteries to keep things as green as possible!

World's Longest Truss Bridge (Tokyo Gate Bridge) Japan
Tokyo Gate Bridge, also called the Dinosaur Bridge (derived from its shape), is a 2.6km-long truss bridge over Tokyo Bay in the capital city of Japan.
The bridge connects manmade island Wakasu with the Jonanjima Seaside Park. Wakasu, located in the Koto ward of Tokyo, is a major industrial area with half of it covered by a golf course.
The Tokyo Gate Bridge forms part of the Rinkai Tokyo Port Seaway. It reduces the travel time from the Shin Kiba district in Koto, Tokyo to Wakasu in half, to ten minutes. It also provides an alternative route to truckers transporting cargo to the Aomi and Oi container terminals.

前から来てみたいと思っていた東京ゲートブリッジに初めて訪れました。
なかなかの威容で本当に来て良かったと思います。
日没前後で集まる人の様子がガラッと変わります。明るいうちは釣り客の大勢いるところですが、日が暮れるとカメラマンの楽園になり釣竿が三脚に鮮やかに変わります。
大変良いところですがくるのがかなり面倒なアクセスの悪いところでりんかい線の新木場駅で降りて、一番バス乗り場で若洲キャンプ場前（折り返し地点）で降りて歩く、これしかありません。
車で直にくるのが一番楽だと思いますが、公共交通ではかなり面倒くさいこれしか方法がないのでやや行き方がわかりにくいと思います。
事実上この江東区立若洲公園以外にまともに見れる場所、写真や動画にして絵になる場所はおそらくないと思われます。
I visited Tokyo Gate Bridge for the first time on October 30th.
It is a bit hard to understand how to go to the best location to view this bridge.
The conclusion is the best place is Wakasu koen Park founded by Koto ward but the way of going there is a bit complicated.
It doesn't take so long and cost so much but the route is actually a bit boring.
If you want to go there, at first you have to get a train on Rinkai(りんかい線 means Seaside line) railway line and get off at Shin Kiba station(新木場駅 )in Koto ward and then get bus at Number 1 bus stop in front of Shin Kiba station and You have to get off the bus at the bus stop named Wakasu camping field.(若洲キャンプ場前）
We can see the impressive figure of Tokyo Gate Bridge from Wakasu koen park(Beachside place of Wakasu Camping field)
and before the sunset this place is a sort of paradise for fishers and
we can see lots of fishing rods along the sea and after getting dark,this place becomes a paradise of cameramen like me and we can see lots of tripods on behalf of them.
I could enjoy viewing the bridge and shooting it.
The figure appears at twilight and the night is so impressive and attractive a great deal and let me hope to go there again later.

In 1951 it was rebuilt with great attention to detail, to make sure every bonsai, stone and bridge would be in the exact same place as before the bombings.
The result is, Shukkeien Garden remains one of the most beautiful and attractive gardens in south-western Japan - well worth a visit if you happen to be traveling to that part of Japan. - Enjoy.

MariCAR MAYHEM Through The Streets of Tokyo - Mario Kart Tokyo Bay BBQ Go Karts
It's been a dream of mine to do the Mario Kart experience in Tokyo and on our latest trip, we made it happen. We booked with the Tokyo Bay BBQ franchise specifically which leaves out of Koto district and their 2.5 to 3 hour drive called the K-L course around Rainbow Bridge, Tokyo Tower, Tokyo Gate Bridge, and Shibuya Crossing.
This video follows our entire experience from start to end where we dress up as our favourite Dragonball, Mario, Nintendo, Marvel, or Disney characters and drive through the streets of Tokyo on go karts. It's a crazy experience that is nuts that it's even legal but we had one heck of a time.
Make sure you get your international drivers license ahead of time at home. The total cost for our trip was 12,000 JPY or roughly $108 USD.
