Ep 390: Tokyo Travel Vlog 2019 part 1 | Bird watching at Tokyo Port Wild Bird Park
Morning HOHOS!
So excited to share the new Tokyo travel vlogs with you! We nested at Ota city this time, a tad far from the main areas of Tokyo but it gives us a whole new adventure!!
Jon and I tried our hands at bird watching (as requested by me hehe). Well.. I was disappointed that there were no volunteers there to give us a tour (unlike what was advertised on their website). Though, Jon pointed out that the volunteer guide would probably speak in Japanese only, since we were in the outskirts of Tokyo (ota city). Nevertheless, it was still an experience, battling bugs (YES SO MANY, they seem to come out and were half dying due to the summer's heat) and trying to spot birds (while failing to identify some) using the field telescope. For one, I was totally not dressed well for this again HAHAHHAHA.
Today's Vlog: - Bird watching at Tokyo Port Wild Bird Park - The Sea Paradise adventure begins

JAPAN TRAVEL: TOKYO RETURN! Part #1 Day 19
And so our big Japan tour comes to a close and brings us back to the country's mighty capital Tokyo. The truth is, despite all the amazing towns and temples, countryside and culture that we absorbed, we did miss it a little bit.
We had two more full days to play in the capital and on the first we took in Sensoji and its neighbourhood, ate the best fried chicken ever, gawped at the geekiness of Akihabara, had a quick stop at the Ota Memorial Museum and had a night out in Ueno courtesy of my friend Mao.
Hell of a city, hell of a welcome back day!
We ate: Karaage at Yukari Katsukare at Fuji Soba Yakitori and other nibbles at Tonbou
Until the next time!
