Yarra One, South Yarra
If South Yarra is Melbourne’s most prestigious location, then Claremont Street is the city’s most exclusive address. And at the heart of it all is Yarra One.
Connecting Yarra Lane to Daly Street, which in turn flows through to Chapel Street from South Yarra Station, the atrium has been designed to be used and embraced by the community. Alongside the landscaped walkway are spaces designed for a café, restaurant and retail shopfronts – providing not only a new lifestyle destination for South Yarra, but also a convenient place for residents to pick up last minute shopping or the perfect coffee.
Rising above the atrium is the elliptical tower of Yarra One designed by Fender Katsalidis Architects, with a refined and sculptural composition and gleaming curved façade designed to provide a full spectrum of views.
The residences of Yarra One present a range of styles and plans to suit every lifestyle, and all finished with a refined approach to materiality. From the fine grain of the chevron timber floors, to the luxury of the honed benchtops, each space is composed of surfaces which are not only beautiful to look at but exquisite to touch.
The dining and library spaces are an extension of your home; balanced by the wellness zone including a state-of-the-art gym, private spa terrace, yoga & dance studio. The rooftop is a a space to gather around fire pits in a lush garden setting, surrounded by panoramic view of Melbourne.

Information on Shout-outs:
If you want a shout-out please put in the comments of any video a short sentence about your channel (max 1 sentence), a link to your logo, and a link to your channel. Whether or whether not you do get a shout-out and what time it is shown on a video is solely at the discretion of Melbourne Railway Videos. A channel can have unlimited shout-outs in theory, and can do this by repeating the exact procedure shown, although other channels that haven’t already received a shout-out (or as many shout-outs) will get priority. Please try to use correct spelling and grammar in your message as this is where people could potentially view your channel for the first time. You do not have to be a train enthusiast to get a shout-out.
The South Yarra Experience
Just as Chapel Street offers an enduring allure, so do all the enrichments available from within this project. The architects have created what they call a Vertical Village within these exquisite interior spaces that makes life delightfully community-centric. There are private, residents-only areas for entertaining and outdoor dining, a luxurious mini theatre, a richly stocked library and even a climate-controlled wine cellar. This lifestyle centred environment is meant both to pamper and please, with the pleasant bonus of practicality.
Owning a home on Chapel St is to know you've arrived. You embrace that understanding every time you look out your window. Each level has a stunning view, with its own perspective. From the top, the views are expansive, a panorama that reveals the largesse of the neighbourhood and a dramatic city skyline. Lower levels are equally impressive, but more intimate, with soothing sights of the Yarra River and those who are enjoying its ambling majesty.
Home is even sweeter when everything in it is designed with your comfort, convenience and sense of style in mind. These include the 'little' things in life, chosen by experts in their fields that become both a source of pride and pleasure.
Premium reconstituted stone surfaces adorn your world class kitchen that any chef would wish to own. A practical and beautiful finishing touch. With premium European fixtures in the kitchen and hinged-door panels that have soft-closing mechanisms, plus Miele and Gaggenau designer appliances and other gourmet-friendly features, it is a joy to cook here.

Chapel Street shooting
From Channel 7 6pm news, April 20 2008.
Jarryd and I went on a Hungry Jack's mission last night and had to walk through this to get there! Woo, how exciting.
On our way back we sat at the Prahran library to eat and watch the excitement. We missed the main action unfortunately.
Highlights included me flicking a pickle onto the library window and some slut asking Jarryd for a drink, then replying Ew, is that Coke?? after a mouthful and handing it back.
Melbourne Travel Guide during your time in Melbourne and how to enjoy magnificent Melbourne weather
Melbourne Travel Guide during your time in Melbourne and how to enjoy magnificent Melbourne weather
Melbourne, at the head of Port Phillip Bay, is Australia's second largest city and the capital of the south-eastern state of Victoria.
Serving as Australia’s undisputed cultural capital, Melbourne is bursting with Victorian-era architecture, famed cafés, great bars and restaurants, extensive shopping, museums, galleries, theatres, and large parks and gardens. Its nearly 5-million residents are both multicultural and sports-mad, and the city has year-round festivals, sporting events and the best of Australian culture on display.
Melbourne is famous as the host city for a range of major international sporting events such as the Australian Open, Melbourne Cup Carnival and Formula 1 Grand Prix. It also features some of the world's most popular art galleries and museums (National Gallery of Victoria, Melbourne Museum) and internationally acclaimed festivals (Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Melbourne International Film Festival, Melbourne Fringe Festival). The city is also represented by its world-famous street art, coffee culture, pubs and live music... most of which can be found tucked away in a large number of iconic laneways. Frequently named as the World's Most Liveable City, Melbourne is close to and features many gardens, national parks and areas that are home to some of Australia's iconic wildlife (The Great Ocean Road, Grampians National Park, Phillip Island, Royal Botanic Gardens). Indigenous sites, museums and experiences (Koorie Heritage Trust, Birrarung Marr, Bunjilaka Aboriginal Cultural Centre) maintain a vital link to the people and culture of the First Nations.

Melbourne is famous for being capable of showing 'four seasons in one day' and has a temperate climate with distinct seasons and usually mild weather. Melbourne is the third-driest capital city in Australia with half of Sydney's rainfall (at 600mm) and is good to visit year-round. Days in Summer have an average high of 26°C, though days above 35°C occur sporadically as it is the warmest season with the lowest rainfall (and fewest rainy days). Autumn and Spring are similar temperatures, hovering around 21°C averages, however there are an average of 11 days with rainfall for each of the Autumn months (March-May), compared to 14 days for each Spring month (Sep-Nov).
