Nordics In Contest To Claim Santa
Kids grow up learning that Santa Claus lives at the North Pole, but children in Scandinavia are taught he lives a bit further south. Where exactly is a matter of much debate, with businesses in Finland, Sweden and Norway competing to cash in on the cache that comes with claiming Santa's hometown. Finnish children know his home to be in the mythological Korvatunturi in the northern wilderness of the Finnish part of Lapland while Swedes say he hails from the small town of Mora. Nicklas Lind, director of Santaworld said, It's time for Christmas cheer not for competition, but we can't be angry if our good colleagues in Sweden, Finland and Greenland think otherwise, all Norwegian children know the real Santa lives here.

This video was shot at Kuussuaq in Southern Greenland near Nanortalik and in the Nuuk capital area. In the first part, where Frederik and Christian walks around in the magic (and only) forest in Greenland, the beautiful green trees symbolize the strong confident people who are leading a positive life. The gray, wilting and dead trees symbolize the people that are struggling in life, some not making it. In the video Frederik finds a magic glass sphere containing ancient spirits. The spirits appears as green lights in the glass sphere - the color of life. Frederik brings the magic sphere with the ancient spirits to the cairn that Nanook (the band) completes. The spirit gets released into present time, meaning that we should use our strength and positive values from our ancestors and adapt it to present time. With the ancients spirits among us we should not fear the future.
The lyrics are about finding a way to a peaceful life by working together and help one another. By doing that, we can all achieve more and become grateful and learn to respect each others' differences. In the end of the song the band sings;
We want to thank you
You that are here
Because you support and help us

GREENLAND: KULUSUK | Sony A6500, DJI Mavic Pro, Sigma 30mm f/1.4
We've spent a very incredible time in the north and I'd like to share some impressions with you. Our first stop was the small island called Kulusuk in the east part of Greenland. Kulusuk is a settlement in the municipality of Sermersooq and counts around 250 inhabitants known as Inuit. I've decided to export in 1080p for the first time, hope you like it!
