TRAVEL VLOG: Famous snack in Cheb, Czech Republic (Spa Wafer) aka plato wafer / MARZ DRUM
Oplatky or Wafers are something Czech people are not known well enough for. Czechs have been making wafers since before the 1800s when in almost every spa they would make the wafers and then sprinkle them with sugar for spa guests daily.
Not like the traditional wafers found in the US, these Czech spa wafers are thin and light. When they were originally made they were served fresh, but since then they have evolved and have been layered on top of one another with spices and flavors added.
Spa wafers are a very classic Czech snack. You can buy them hot and fresh off street vendors, in fact on the side of the street in spa towns such as Karlovy Vary it is not unusual to catch people on the side of the street munching on one of these delights. Or, you can buy a box of them in tourist style shops. In many restaurants in the Czech Republic they will also use them as a garnish on other sweets like ice-cream.
One of the oldest and most popular brand of spa wafers in Czech is Kolonada by Opavia and they are still sold today. Their round tin boxes are iconic in Czech culture and they make for a popular, tasty gift. The wafers come in a variety of different flavors such as vanilla, chocolate, hazelnut, cinnamon, or just plain sugar.
Each wafer has a beautiful design pressed into the center of them and when you eat them, they are so thin and sweet, they almost melt in your mouth! But spa wafers are not the only kind of wafers Czech people make and eat. If you are new to my channel don't to forget to SUBSCRIBE and Click the BELL to enable notification for my new videos. Cheb in Czech republic
My home-city
Sex Tourism and the Czech Republic
This Video talks about Cheb , a trafficking transit hot spot for Eastern Europe. This is the day of my journey into Cheb. Cheb is also the top place for sex Tourisms, where pedophile's exploit young Children because of lax border patrol laws. which make it easy to sneak a child out of the country. I went and prayed in this place and asked for strategy from God. Being that this is a transit city.. its an access point that eventually leads right to Texas. ...why has the highest sex offender registry inthe nation....Please pray with me take back the gates of the city back and put them in hands of the revivalist in this nation. thank you

From Prague to Germany by Bus and Train - Czech Republic 4K Travel Channel
After 6 weeks and 8 different countries, it is time to go home again. We take the Intercity Bus, the long-distance coach of the Deutsche Bahn (German Railway) from Prague via Nuremberg to Mannheim, where we change to the train. From there, our journey continues via Kaiserslautern, Saarbrücken, and Völklingen to Trier.
Although we made already sure up arrival in Prague where the bus leaves, we are surprised to see a construction site instead of the bus stop. The memories of our mishap in Warsaw quickly come up again. There we could not find the stop and had to take the train. It turns out that the bus stop was only about 30 m further. But that is not so obvious to find, as the signs are only in Czech.
Finally, we sit on the bus, satisfied, but also a little tired. The bus leaves the station in a semicircle in northern direction. Then the bus crosses the Vltava, turns to the west and then further south. In the west of Prague it turns again to the west and from here it goes comfortably over the flat country to Nuremberg. The highway seems to us almost empty, which changed quickly after the border.
Also in Nuremberg, the bus drives to the railway station, where we take a short break. From there we continue southwest and drive over the Kochertalbrücke. With a height of 185 m, it is Germany's highest bridge.
Already from a distance, we see the Concorde and the Tupolev TU-144 in the outdoor area of the Technik Museum Sinsheim. But these are not the only exhibits!
Shortly afterward we pass the Hockenheim Ring and reach Mannheim. Again, the bus stops at the station, so that we can change directly to our connecting train.

Walking in Tábor, Capital City of Hussite Wars | Czech Republic 4K
Check out my other videos. If you enjoyed the video then feel free to like, comment and subscribe, it will help a lot!
The Hussite Wars, also called the Bohemian Wars or the Hussite Revolution, were fought between the Christian Hussites and the combined Christian Catholic forces of Sigismund, Holy Roman Emperor, the Papacy and various European monarchs loyal to the Catholic Church. These wars lasted from 1419 to approximately 1434. The Taborites were a Radical Hussite faction within the Hussite movement in medieval Lands of the Bohemian Crown. Taborite theology represented one of the most radical departures from that of the medieval Catholic Church. They rejected what they called a veneer of corruption in the Church and insisted on the normativeness of biblical authority. Even though Taborite theologians were versed in scholastic theology, they were among the first intellectuals to break free from centuries-old scholastic methods.
The town was founded in the spring of 1420. Tábor is situated in the Czech Republic, in South Bohemian Region, 100 kilometers away from the capital city Prague.
