Quest for the Buried Cannons of Harrisburg Texas
At the end of the Civil War, in 1865, Confederate soldiers led by Dr Henry Graves and his black servant, Dan, stole the Twin Sisters cannons that had earlier won independence for Texas in 1836 at the Battle of San Jacinto. The guns had been confiscated by Yankees in Galveston and transported to Harrisburg rail road depot for transport out of the area. Dr Graves and friends were returning from Galveston, where the Twin Sisters were last used at the Battle of Galveston. Getting off of the train at Harrisburg, they saw the cannons and took them in the dead of night to disappear forever Redneck Archaeologist, Jackson Burns and gang are sent on a mission to locate and recover them. History will never be the same!
Underwater robot finds shipwreck with treasure worth up to $17B
There is new information about the discovery of a 310-year-old Spanish shipwreck, carrying treasure that might be worth up to $17 billion. The ship was found with the help of an underwater robot, an unmanned submarine similar to this one. Don Dahler reports.
