Galveston Island is a barrier island on the Texas Gulf Coast in the United States, about 50 miles southeast of Houston. The entire island, with the exception of Jamaica Beach, is within the city limits of the City of Galveston in Galveston County. Galveston Ferry | Bolivar Peninsula Trip | Texas Beach

Hi my lovely friends, come with me on a trip to Bolivar Peninsula, a half Island close to Galveston, Texas. We boarded in Galveston and we drove our car on top of the ferry. Once you are on the ferry, you can get out of the car and enjoy the beautiful view of the Galveston Bay. The trip from Galveston to Bolivar Peninsula takes about 20 min and is completely free. The ferry does not have a schedule, they drive whenever the ferry is full. So you just arrive at the Galveston port and stand in line until they let you get on the ferry.

Bolivar Peninsula is a census-designed place in Galveston County, Texas, United States. The population was 2,417 at the 2010 census.

Bolivar Area: 48.15 mi

Bolivar Elevation: 9.843
