Troll Falls Kananaskis Winter Hike 2019 | Journey Alberta
In this week's new video, I do the hike to Troll Falls, Kananaskis, in the winter to see the frozen waterfalls! A note about doing this hike in the winter, if you plan on hiking and walking around the ice make sure you have some kind of ice grips on your shoes! I saw many people almost fall and get hurt while I was out making this video.

The Troll Falls Hike in Kananaskis (4K) | Journey Alberta
I travel into Kananaskis with my friend Jesse Mullie to do the hike to Troll Falls and the 2 Hidden Waterfalls beyond it in Kananaskis. The hike starts just after turning right into the Kananaskis Village, and then making your fist right to the trailhead. The hike will take most people no longer than a couple of hours if you choose to head up the steeper pathway to the hidden waterfalls. You'll spend much of your time admiring the waterfalls. Comment below what Kananaskis hike you'd like to see me do next!

Troll Falls Landscape Photography | Kananaskis Country (EP.4)
I originally put this vlog together back in the fall without necessarily intending to publish it on youtube. I just wanted to have a look at the idea. Anyway, since I did decide to publish a few other landscape photography vlogs, I thought I would publish this one as well... In this video I head out to Troll Falls in the Canadian Rockies in an area called Kananaskis Country to photograph some amazingly waterfalls.
Photographs and video created using the incredible Olympus OM- D system: I don't get a commission if you follow this link, but I do get a very small credit that I can use toward payment of Olympus products.

Troll Falls Hike in the Winter, Kananaskis 4K
On a solo day trip to Kananaskis, I do the Troll Falls Hike in the winter. The trail is just over 1 kilometer long, and can be made longer by climbing up to the 2 hidden waterfalls. I use some ice grips on my shoes to make hiking a bit easier. To my amazement, Troll Falls is completely frozen, as are the 2 hidden waterfalls. Make sure to subscribe for new videos every Friday!

Troll Falls - Kananaskis
During a work conference at the Delta Lodge in Kananaskis Village, I took advantage of being in the mountains and hiked the Troll Falls trail. I'd heard about this hike from a few people, and it totally exceeded all my expectations! (besides being disappointed that I didn't see any actual troll dolls along the way, which I heard there would be) Quite short but high reward! The first 20 minutes or so are fairly uneventful. Once you hit the first waterfall, don't stop there! Keep going up stream and you'll run into waterfall after waterfall, big and small. Would definitely recommend this for all skill levels, young and old.
Troll Falls Trail - Kananaskis, Alberta - BP#48
Patrice and I took advantage of another perfect Alberta day to do some exploring with our trusty SCX10 trail trucks. We decided to explore the trail to Troll Falls in Kananaskis. It was totally worth the short hike to see the falls.
What's Above Troll Falls? Kananaskis, Alberta
December 7/2018
Today I will be taking you on a hike up to Troll Falls, and beyond. We are in Kananaskis Country, an hour from Calgary. This hike is 3.4 kilometers out and back, and has an elevation gain of 151 meters. It’s a great hike for families, as the trail has a gradual incline and it’s not that far. There are so many waterfalls after the main falls, it’s crazy. A must do hike in KCountry.
I welcome any comments you may have. If you enjoyed this video please give it a thumbs up. This is my 18th video. If you would like to see my other videos, Subscribe to my channel. New videos weekly. Next week I will be taking you for a winter walk through Big Hill Springs Provincial Park. CHEERS
Thank you,
Cary Mason
