Insight Part 1: A Life in Karate – Sensei Nicholas Adamou. (HD)
Insight Part 1: A Life in Karate – Sensei Nicholas Adamou. (HD)
This two-part video is about the art of Shotokan Karate as practised by the clubs under the International Association of Shotokan Karate (the IASK); whose main club is based at the Harrow Leisure Centre, in North West London, where they train three days a week.
The organisation is led by its founder and chief-instructor, Sensei Nicholas Adamou, whose dedication and enthusiasm has driven the success of this club over the years, and who continues to provide a highly traditional teaching style, following the fine heritage of the Japanese founders of Shotokan, under whose lineage he trained. This richness of karate tradition is a major benefit of the training provided by the IASK.
A special black belt class was held in October 2015 with current and past students attending, some of whom now run their own clubs under the IASK. This class showcased Sensei’s teaching style and techniques and is the main subject of this video.
The first half of this video provides an insight into the influences and development of Sensei Adamou from a karate student to an accomplished master. His training in karate is now into its 52nd year, and he has been an instructor for 47 years to date. Here, Sensei Adamou gives a close, personal view on his history in karate, which for him has truly been his way of life since the age of 17.
In all, this video hopes to shed more light on this club for students - beginners to advanced, and those simply interested in learning more about the clubs or about Shotokan karate, as practised by this very highly-experienced teacher, whose life in the art continues to inspire and motivate.

Listening is a more natural way of learning, when compared to reading. Written language only began at around 3200 BC, but spoken language has existed long ago.
Learning by listening is a great way to:
- increases imagination and understanding
- improves your listening skills
- improves your own spoken accent
- learn while on the move
- reduce eye strain
Now learn the vast amount of general knowledge available on Wikipedia through audio (audio article). You could even learn subconsciously by playing the audio while you are sleeping! If you are planning to listen a lot, you could try using a bone conduction headphone, or a standard speaker instead of an earphone.

SUMMARY
=======
This is a list of natural history museums, also known as museums of natural history, i.e. museums whose exhibits focus on the subject of natural history, including such topics as animals, plants, ecosystems, geology, paleontology, and climatology.
Some museums feature natural-history collections in addition to other collections, such as ones related to history, art and science. In addition, nature centers often include natural-history exhibits.
