One day in Washington D.C. Capitol Building. Washington Monument. The White House. Lincoln Memorial.
Washington, District of Columbia is a capital city of USA founded in year 1790 ???? It was named after the first president George Washington! After leaving New Jersey we were heading to Washington to spend there one day on our trip to Miami. ???? It was a big surprise to see what this city has to offer. ???? Dozens of free museums, memorials and government headquarters with magnificent design and fascinating architecture. ???? We did not even had a full day but we tried to see as much as possible including:
✅ The Capitol Building
✅ Washington Monument
✅ The White House
✅ Lincoln Memorial
✅ Reflecting Pool

???? ROAD TRIP ACROSS USA 2018 ❗❗❗
???? I had dream to drive across the USA, from coast to coast. Of course, the preparations were essential, because I have never been to USA and this country was completely unknown to me. Approximately six months before the road trip each day of the trip was thoroughly planned.
???? During the preparations there were plenty of questions regarding the car rental, accommodation, food cost, whether you need a visa, insurance, where to book an affordable flight tickets from Europe, etc. Summer 2018 I made this dream a reality. The trip was 5 week long and we managed to cover more than 11 000 km across 18 states. Our starting point was New York ???? and the end destination was Los Angeles. What happened in-between is hard to put in words, so I tried to video record as much as possible to depict this epic road trip through video filming.
???? The purpose of this video is informative and entertainment. Every Sunday starting from 30.12.2018 I will be uploading videos from this road trip.
????If you like the video please ❗share❗ it with your friends! ????

Westin DC City Center Hotel - Deluxe King Room Tour
Take a tour of a deluxe king room in the Westin DC City Center Hotel in Washington, D.C. An extensive renovation of this Westin was completed in 2015. While the rooms are comfortable, clean and functional, they feel worn and incomplete, despite the recent renovation. And underperforming air conditioning units in the rooms make it hard to get your room to a comfortably cool temperature during DC's swampy summer climate! However, the hotel's central location at 15th Street NW and M Street make it very convenient to all of Northwest DC. With stellar staff, from the front desk to the restaurant, we happily frequent this hotel when visiting the nation's capital.

Kevin has worked on some cool projects recently including with U Street Music Hall's Will Eastman on his HILO album and directing Paperhaus's recent video Told you What to Say. Not far from the soon to open The LINE Hotel DC, we walk and talk about racial-profiling in San Antonio, Texas, being a new dad, and what it's like working with everything from graphic design and web design to projection mapping. CONRAD HOTEL ROOFTOP BAR Washington DC | Dinner at Sfoglina Pasta House Downtown DC | DC NightLife
Enjoy a gorgeous rooftop bar view at the Conrad Washington DC. Nightlife in DC at its best. You walk into the hotel and a spa aroma melts the stresses of the day way. You can see an amazing sunset on the rooftop. It’s a beautiful, luxururious hotel and one of the best rooftop bars for drinks and hosting an event.
I reunited with my Capitol Hill crew from 30 years ago! We were all Hillites early 20s working the halls of the U.S. Senate. We had some great times. After a fabulous evening at the Conrad, we walked across the street to Sfoglina for a freshly made delicious Italian dinner.
The Conrad Hotel is lovely so be sure to make reservations for rooftop seating because they fill quickly. It’s a marvelous view and DC hot spot.

AKA White House Hotel in DC
The name of the hotel is call AKA White House Hotel.
This hotel is best for the an affordable price. At this time, the room was $230 a night.
When you first walk in, music will be playing through the hallway, inside your room. I'm guessing it's a 1000sqft one bedroom. It's BIG.
-washer and dryer (detergent included)
-full kitchen (comes with soap & sponge)
-dinning table
-full livingroom
-hardwood floor (not laminate)
-TV in bedroom and livingroom
-1.5 bathroom
-Big windows
The self parking is attached to the hotel. It's really tight, and smells a little.
Valet is available and super fast! we all always call operator, hi, we are own our way down to car is always ready. It's not a big hotel. Full bar in the lobby. The lobby is dark and very nice. This hotel is about 2 blocks away from the real white house. It's the cleanest part of DC. I fell in love with pret a manger it's like their subway!! it's everywhere, and quality is amazing.
I GIVE IT 9.5/10
-.5 ( self parking was tight, smelly)

Welcome to Washington Come one and all Welcome to the District Of Columbia
CHORUS:
Welcome to Washington, DC, this is the place
Where dreams come true, yes the capital of the United States
We'll enter the heart of our nation
We'll see where our bills become law
We'll visit the site of the White House
And monuments that bring awe
VERSE 1: (JEFF)
Well the national capital is not in any state
No favorites are made, no state can overtake
Located on the banks where the Potomac River flows
Between Maryland and Virginia, Congress chose
To be the spot for the country's headquarters
President Washington mapped out the borders
Formed the new district, it was 1790
68 square miles, you can say it's tiny
It's one of the most important places on the whole earth
America's three government branches on the same turf
A sure way to go when you arrive inside the capital:
Take the metro to Pennsylvania Avenue
The home of the president, the most famous resident
The White House, number 1600, it's elegant
Walking around inside it, in a room called the East
You might hear a speech by the Commander and Chief
Welcome to Washington, DC, this is the place
Where dreams come true, yes the capital of the United States
VERSE 2: (SCOTT)
Originally, our nation's capital
Was usually called Federal City
George Washington had a lot of modesty
He never referred to it as Washington DC
DC means District of Columbia
Columbia's poetic, stands for America
Derived from the name Christopher Columbus
A prideful time was the 1800's
It's when the Capitol building would rise
The house of Congress, rests on a hillside
Two chambers to separate its members
The House of Representatives from the Senators
It's large round dome catches all eyes
Atop, there, standing against the sunrise
The Statute of Freedom, symbol for all people
Reminds everyone that we are all equal
We'll enter the heart of our nation We'll see where our bills become law
We'll visit the site of the White House
And monuments that bring awe
VERSE 3: (JEFF)
There are many monuments so that we always will remember
Through the summer sun and in the dark of December
The people and events which have shaped our lives
Ensuring we have freedom and our country thrives
Five hundred fifty-five feet into the skies
A monument to George Washington we recognize
What lies across the way is the Jefferson Memorial
Sits inside a bay, reminds us of a man historical
Who toiled over the Declaration of Independence
With columns and a dome, his monument brings resplendence
Then it's to the Lincoln Memorial, there's a statue
Of Abraham Lincoln in chair, staring at you
Have you ever seen the V-shaped black marble wall?
Soldiers who did fall in Vietnam, it names them all
There's a long pool of water to reflect the view
And a monument to those who fought in WWII
Welcome to Washington, DC, this is the place
Where dreams come true, yes the capital of the United States
VERSE 4: (SCOTT)
As we continue to walk through the National Mall
Take a glance and see where many did hear the call
Of voices in rallies, people demonstrating
Where I have a Dream said Martin Luther King
It's not a mall to shop, but a large green park
Outside, nearby, DC's widest streets
Look up, no skyscrapers for the eyes to meet
The Washington Monument's the highest peak
But then believe that a rule was put in writing:
Nothing shall be taller than the capitol building
Travel up its steps, like dreams and thoughts
See what resembles a Greek temple: The Supreme Court
And the Smithsonian destination for your travel
World's biggest museum, looks like a castle
Or there's art to see in the National Gallery
There are many great sites in Washington DC
Welcome to Washington, DC, this is the place Where dreams come true, yes the capital of the United States We'll enter the heart of our nation We'll see where our bills become law We'll visit the site of the White House And monuments that bring awe
