The Japanese War Crimes Museum Harbin, China
During the second Sino-Japanese war from 1937-1945 and World War II, the Japanese Army undertook lethal human experiments in Unit 731 outside of Harbin.
It was officially known as the Epidemic Prevention and Water Purification Department. Between 3,000-12,000 men, women and children died during human experimentation. They were frozen, dissected alive, exposed to plague and cholera, burned and gassed to death. What can I say?

More Japanese wartime crimes disclosed by Harbin Unit 731 museum
A commemoration ceremony was held on December 13, 2019, in Harbin Unit 731 museum to mourn the victims of the Nanjing Massacre, in which more than 300,000 Chinese were killed on this date 82 years ago, as well as to commemorate China's national memorial day.
Today, numerous Japan's wartime atrocities in the region are being remembered, and like the notorious unit 731 set up by the Japanese army in Harbin to develop Japan's biological warfare program, it conducted vivisection experiments on innocent people. Their ultimate goal was to develop Japan's biological warfare program. After the war, the Japanese government did very little to acknowledge Unit 731's atrocities, despite a large amount of evidence discovered at the site.
The newest evidence disclosed by Harbin unit 731 museum this time includes several pictures of Shiro Ishii - director of Unit 731, while he was in charge of the notorious biological warfare unit as well as testimonies from few Japanese veterans who have served in the Unit.

Unit 731- Harbin ????????
About Unit 731 #Unit731 #Harbin #WarCrimes
Most of us have heard about the horrible experiments on humans done by the Nazi doctor Mengele. But the Nazis weren’t alone in conducting cruel experiments on humans.
One of the lesser known atrocities of the 20th century was committed by the Imperial Japanese Army’s Unit 731. Some of the details of this unit’s activities are still uncovered.
For 40 years, the horrific activities of “Unit 731” remained one the most closely guarded secrets of World War II. It was not until 1984 that Japan acknowledged what it had long denied – vile experiments on humans conducted by the unit in preparation for germ warfare.
Deliberately infected with plague, anthrax, cholera and other pathogens, an estimated 3,000 of enemy soldiers and civilians were used as guinea pigs. Some of the more horrific experiments included vivisection without anesthesia and pressure chambers to see how much a human could take before his eyes popped out.
Japanese Unit 731: A history of war-time horror
Unit 731 was a covert biological and chemical warfare research and development unit of the Japanese Army. It conducted deadly human experiments during the Sino-Japanese War, and was responsible for some of the most notorious war crimes by Japanese personnel. CCTV’s Guan Yang has this story from what remains of the headquarters of Unit 731 in northeastern China’s city of Harbin.

UNIT 731 HARBIN MEMORIAL - CHINA TRAVEL VLOG DAY 4
On our fourth day in Harbin, We head to the Unit 731 Harbin Memorial, a harrowing but interesting memorial and museum that teaches the events of Harbin during the Second World War.
Some horrific acts were committed to the Chinese people and I was shocked that events like this were not taught in the UK. I studied history through college and WW2 was a big aspect of that study, but these atrocities were never discussed or taught.
We have enjoyed our time in Harbin and would highly recommend visiting UNIT 731 on your visit, it is a really interesting thing to do in Harbin.

Conspiracy Corner Teaser: UNIT 731
Duke's Conspiracy Corner returns this week. This is a very tough topic to listen too. We are wrapping up episodes 1 and 2 before we move onto another topic. At the end of episode 2 Duke asked You ever wonder why the Japanese were never brought to trial for their war crimes? and I was shocked most of the audience did not realize the war crimes committed by the Japanese. This show will be packed with a lot of information you will not find in history books. Look for it this week.
Japanese war crimes occurred in many Asian and Pacific countries during the period of Japanese imperialism, primarily during the Second Sino-Japanese War and World War II. These incidents have also been described as an Asian Holocaust[1] and Japanese war atrocities. Some war crimes were committed by military personnel from the Empire of Japan in the late 19th century, although most took place during the first part of the Shōwa Era, the name given to the reign of Emperor Hirohito, until the surrender of the Empire of Japan, in 1945.

Foreign tourists in particular have visited the site, located in northeast China's city of Harbin, in greater number this year. Many of the tourists have expressed shock and anger at the atrocities committed by the unit.
The truth of Japan's Unit 731 七三一部队的真相
Unit 731 was a top-secret biological and chemical warfare research base established in Harbin, China in 1933. According to data, at least 3,000 people were killed in its human experiments, including civilians and prisoners of war from China, Soviet Union, Korea, and Mongolia. Most members of Unit 731 were arrested by the Soviet Red Army after war and tried at the Khabarovsk War Crime Trials.
This documentary released by Japanese national broadcaster NHK reveals these atrocities, sparking huge controversy in both Japanese and Chinese community.
