Chandler Arizona Carino Estates
Carino Estates is one of my favorite Chandler neighborhoods! It is located south of Ryan Avenue, between Alma School and Arizona avenues in the heart of south Chandler and developed by Shea Homes. On the north side of Ryan Avenue is a very large community park. Hancock Elementary School is also located at 2425 S. Pleasant Drive north of Ryan Park and Hamilton High School, a very popular choice is located at 3700 South Arizona Avenue. With many major stores and restaurants such as Stein Mart, HomeGoods, Sprouts, OfficeMax, Native New Yorker, Albertsons, Target, Keegans, Frys and the Cobblestone Auto Spa, there are many options to choose from.
As far as pricing right now, Carino Estates couldnt be more affordable! There are currently 12 active listings ranging from $189,000 (1519sf) to $325,000 (3024sf). 8 listings are currently pending and within the past 3 months, there have been 11 closings with a low of $210,000 (1753sf) to a high of $285,000 (2750sf) and an average of $244,000 (2074sf). Out of the 11, 3 were short sale/pre-foreclosures, 3 were lender owned properties and the remaining 5 were regular transactions. 2 of those regular transactions were cash, 1 FHA loan and 8 conventional loans. Properties in Carino Estates are currently on the market for an average of 64 days. Regular or non-distressed properties are on the market an average of 51 days while distressed properties such as short sales, pre-foreclosures and lender owned properties are on the market an average of 75 days. Carino Estates is a great community and with the park and the many greenbelts, you will always see kids playing, people walking their dogs or just basically enjoying the great weather were having right now! If youre thinking of making a move to the Chandler area or considering selling, please give me a call.

That’s right, there’s a 100 percent chance of snow in the heart of southeast Chandler. The Environmental Education Center is bringing a side of winter we rarely get to see by creating a winter wonderland at Veterans Oasis Park.
“This event brings together the joy and wonder of the ageless, ever-magical experience of a Snow Day,” explained Dexter Belling, event organizer. “Kids enjoy celebrating the snow with a morning of adventures – experimenting with footprints, building snow forts, creating snow angels and making snowballs.”
Bundle up the family. Break out your mittens, boots and snow hat for a day of fantastically frozen fun. Young visitors will enjoy playing in real snow and learning the science of snow. First snowfall is at 10 a.m. and features a hill for sledding, special winter-themed crafts and activities. Entry into the park and event are free. Snow will be available until it melts.
