विंध्याचल मंदिर देश के ५१ शक्तिपीठों में से एक माना जाता है । विंध्य पर्वत मालाओ की गोद में बसा विंध्याचल मंदिर पर देश के कोने - कोने से लोग आते हैं ।
नवरात्र के दिनों में यहाँ काफी भीड़ होती है। इस मंदिर के अलावा यहाँ से ३ किलोमीटर दूर महाकाली पहाड़ी पर काली खोह मंदिर और अष्टभुजा पहाड़ी पर अष्टभुटा देवी का प्राचीन मंदिर है । कहा जाता है कि इन दोनो देवियों के दर्शन किये बिना विंध्याचल की यात्रा अधूरी मानी जाती है ।

welcome to my youtube channel,
Vindhyachal is a town in Mirzapur District of Uttar Pradesh state in northern India. The city is a Hindu pilgrimage site having the temple of Vindhyavasini, who according to Markandeya Purana had incarnated to kill the demon Mahishasura. The detailed description has been given in 'Durga Saptashati' Chapter of Markandeya Purana.
The river Ganga flows through this city. The Indian Standard Time (IST) line passes through the Vindhyachal railway station.
Vindhyachal 70 km. (one and a half hour drive) from Varanasi, is a renowned religious city dedicated to Goddess Vindhyavasini. Goddess Vindhyavasini is believed to be the instant bestower of benediction.
Vindhyavasini Devi Temple is situated 8 km from Mirzapur, on the banks of the holy river Ganga. It is one of the most revered Siddhapeeths of the presiding deity, Vindhyavasini Devi.
The temple is visited by large number of people daily. Big congregations are held during Navratras in Chaitra (April) and Ashwin (October) months. Kajali competitions are held in the month of Jyestha (June). The temple is situated just 2 km from the Kali Khoh.
There are several temples of other deities in the vicinity, the most famous ones being Ashtabhuja Devi Temple and kalikhoh Temple. There is parikrama (circumambulation) which constitute:
1. Maa Vindhyavasini Devi Temple, dedicated to Goddess Durga.
2. Kali khoh temple, in form of ancient cave dedicated to Goddess
Maha Kali (6 km from Vindhyavasini temple) Here, the deity
represents to incarnation of Hindu Goddess Durga, for killing
demon Raktabeeja.
3. Ashtabhuja temple, dedicated to Goddess Maha Saraswati (on a
hillock, 8 km from Vindhyavasini temple) It is believed, that
Ashtabhuja was sister of Krishna, who came here, after relieving
herself from the grip of demon Kansa, who wanted to kill her,
just after her birth to Vasudeva and Devaki.
Vindhyachal, a Shakti Peeth, is a center of pilgrimage in Mirzapur District, Uttar Pradesh. The Vindhyavasini Devi temple located here is a major draw and is thronged by hundreds of devotees during the Navratris of Chaitra and Ashwin months to invoke the blessings of the Goddess.
Other sacred places in the town are Ashtbhuja temple, Sita Kund, Kali Khoh, Budeh Nath temple, Narad Ghat, Gerua talab, Motiya talab, Lal Bhairav and Kal Bhairav temples, Ekdant Ganesh, Sapta Sarovar, Sakshi Gopal temple, Goraksha-kund, Matsyendra kund, Tarkeshwar Nath temple, Kankali Devi temple, Shivashiv Samooh Awadhoot Ashram and Bhairav kund.
Mirzapur is the closest railhead. Vindhyachal has regular bus services to the nearby towns.
The nearest railway station is at Mirzapur. Some of important trains also halt at Vindhyachal railway Station (Code : BDL). Regular bus services connect Vindhyachal to the nearby towns.

Vindhyavasini Devi Temple is situated in Vindhyachal, 8 km from Mirzapur, on the banks of the holy river Ganges. It is one among the popular sakthipeeths where the Goddess Kali is adorned in the form of Vindhyavasini Devi. Popularly called as the Kajala devi the presiding deity in the temple is considered as the embodiment of love and benediction. This temple has found its rendering in the holy scriptures of Hindu religion and it has got a tremendous impact in the life of a devout Hindu. The Shaktipeeth attracts pilgrims throughout the year. However, big congregations are held during Navratras in Chaitra (April) and Ashwin (October) months. In the month of Jyestha (June) 'Kajali' competitions are also held here in which large number of people take part. Along with the two other temples in the name of female goddess, this temple constitutes the much revered Triloka parikrama which is considered as very auspicious by an orthodox Hindu.
Vindhyachal, one of the constituent town of the Mirzapur-Vindhyachal Municipality is situated in the middle of the two holy cities- Allahabad and Varanasi on the bank of River Ganges in the Mirzapur district. It is one of the holiest places of India. The built up area lies along the direction of the River Ganges with the temple of Vindhyavasini in the centre. The city is dedicated to Goddess Vindhyavasini and is one of the renowned Shaktipeethas of the country and an important religious and pilgrim centre. There are many other temples and mineral springs (locally known as Kunds) in the vicinity of the town. Vindhyavasini, Ashtabhuja and Kali Khoh are three main Shakti temples here, located on the three corners of Vindhya Parvat. The divine trinity is worshipped here as Ma Laxmi, Ma Kali and Ma Saraswati. Bhairav temples are located around the city centre to ward off evil effects, viz., Anand Bhairav on the east, Sidhanath on the west, Kapal Bhairav on the south & Rudra Bhairav on the north side. 'Kajali' the local folk music is dedicated to Ma Vindhyavasini. All Kajali singers from north India come here to celebrate Kajali Mahotsava (Festival). People come here to seek blessings from goddess of power. Tantriks also visit this place for Tantra sadhana (Meditation).
Trikon Parikrama: The three temples on the three corners of Vindhyachal, viz., Vindhyavasini, Kali Khoh and Ashtabhuja temple are locally known as Trikon (triangle) and pilgrimage is completed only after visiting all of them which is known as Trikon Parikrama (circumambulation of the divine triangle). As per Indian belief the triangle pilgrimage brings in overall good fortune to the pilgrims. There is also provision of taking holy dip, in the Kali Kund during this pilgrimage. The Parikrama is considered over after visiting the pond of saint Karngiri.
Vindhyachal is famous for housing one of the 51 Shaktipeeths in the country. Shaktipeeths are source of power or abode of Goddess Durga symbolizing the female part of power. Situated at the distance of 90 Km from Varanasi, Vindhyachal is a sacred pilgrimage destination for Hindus. Some famous temples located here include Vindhyavasini, Asthbhuja and Kalikhoh.
Several mythological incidences abound here, recounted by devotional locals numerous times and having supporting monuments and ancient structures as a testimony. One such legend associate the Vindhyavasini Temple with the incidence in which Goddess Durga after having killed the demon king Mahishasura had established herself here. Thus, Goddess Durga came to be known as Vindhyavasini in these regions.
Sitakund is another sacred site that traces its roots to the legend associated with Lord Rama, Lakshamana and Sita. As the story goes, while returning from their exile Sita felt thirsty and on realizing that there was no water bodies in the area, Lakshamana pierced an arrow into the ground. The result was a miraculous emergence of a fountain and a water body exists here till date along with the temple. Another famous temple Ashtabhuja exists at a low hillock nearby reachable after climbing 48 steps to the Sita Kund. Devotees may also visit the cave reachable through a narrow path which is so low that one has to bow down in order to get a glimpse of the subterranean Goddess Kali.
Apart from these and some other sacred temples, there also exists Brahmakund and Agastyakund, two water bodies a dip in which is believed to relieve one of his sins. Apart from its deep religious roots, Vindhyachal is also known for the scenic surroundings and picturesque settings all around, making the trip extremely fruitful. Indeed an important and interesting tourist spot not to be missed while visiting Varanasi.

Shydha a small village lies about 24 km distant from Banda among the ravince close to the ken river. Nearby in a hill called Khatri Pahar, the recorded height being 259 meters above sea level. On the top of the hill a small temple dedicated to Angleshwari Devi. The legend is that the devi, having to flee from the persecution of her meternal father Kans, rose bodily into the air and sought a place of safety. She tried the strength of the hill with her finger, but finding it incapable of supporting her weight went on to Vindhyachal. From her anguli, a finger the name Angleshwari Devi is derived. On every Navratri a large mela is organized.

Vindhyavasini is name of a benevolent aspect of Devi Amba or Durga. Her temple is located at Vindhyachal, 8 km away from Mirzapur on the banks of river Ganges, in Uttar Pradesh.Another shrine is located in Bandla, Himachal Pradesh also called Bandla Mata Temple.[1][2][3]
The goddess gets her name from Vindhya Range and the name Vindhyavasini, literally means, she who resides in Vindhya. As it is believed that the Shaktipeeths were created on earth, where the body parts of Sati fell. But Vindhayachal is the place and a Shaktipeeth, where the Devi had chosen to reside after her birth. At the time of the birth of Krishna as 8th Child of Devaki-Vasudeva, Maha-Yogini Mahamaya has taken birth at same time at Nanda-Yashoda and as per the instruction from God Vishnu, Vasudev had replaced Krishna with this girl child of Yashoda. When Kansa tried to kill this girl child she escaped from the hand of Kansa and turned into Deviform and informed him that Oh!! You fool!! The one who will kill you is already born and safeand vanished from the prison of Mathura. Thereafter, she choose Vindhyachal mountains to reside, where her temple is located at present.
The temple is one of the most revered Shakti Peethas of India. The Vindhyavasini Devi is also known popularly by name of Kajala devi. Goddess Kali is adorned in the form of Vindhyavasini Devi.[2][3]
The huge number of crowds visit the temple, especially during Navaratri in Hindu months of Chaitra and Ashwin. In month of Jyeshtha, the Kajali competition, a folk genre are held here.[2][3]
There is a temple of Mahasaraswati named Ashtbhuja Temple, 3 km away on a hillock and a temple of goddess Kali in cave called Kali khoh temple. The pilgrims prefer to visit these three temples, which is a part of rite called Trilokan Parikrama.[2][3]
There is also a temple dedicated to goddess in Pokhara, Nepal.[4]

गंगा किनारे स्थित vindhyachal dham पुरे WORLDS में प्रसिद्ध है ,पर्यटन के दृस्टिकोड से मिर्ज़ापुर पुरे देश में प्रसिद्ध है ,विंध्याचल माँ विंध्यवासिनी का निवास स्थान रहा है ,माँ विंध्यवासिनी देश के 51 शक्तिपीठ में एक है ,विंध्याचल की माँ विंध्यवासिनी विंध्याचल की पहाड़ियों में गंगा की पवित्र धाराओ में कल कल करती त्रिकोड़ यंत्र पर स्थित विंध्याचल ,माँ विंध्यवासिनी ,महा लक्ष्मी ,महाकाली ,महासरस्वती रूप धारण पुराणों में विंध्य क्षेत्र का महत्व तपोभूमि के रूप में वर्णित है। विंध्याचल की पहाड़ियों में गंगा की पवित्र धाराओं की कल-कल करती ध्वनि, प्रकृति की अनुपम छटा बिखेरती है। विंध्याचल पर्वत न केवल प्राकृतिक सौंदर्य का अनूठा स्थल है बल्कि संस्कृति का अद्भुत अध्याय भी है। इसकी माटी की गोद में पुराणों के विश्वास और अतीत के अध्याय जुडे हुए हैं। त्रिकोण यंत्र पर स्थित विंध्याचल निवासिनी देवी लोकहिताय, महालक्ष्मी, महाकाली तथा महासरस्वती का रूप धारण करती हैं। विंध्यवासिनी देवी विंध्य पर्वत पर स्थित मधु तथा कैटभ नामक असुरों का नाश करने वाली भगवती यंत्र की अधिष्ठात्री देवी हैं।

नवरात्रि में विन्याचल मंदिर मेला।।Vindhyachal Mandir।।Mirzapur।।Vindhyavasini Devi।।
विन्ध्याचल में 18 मार्च से चैत्र नवरात्र का मेला प्रारम्भ हो रहा है इस बीच मेले की तैयारी जोरो पर है ।साफ सफाई रंग रोगन का काम तेजी से किया जा रहा है विश्व प्रसिध्द जगत जननी माँ विन्ध्यवासिनी धाम में नवरात्र मेले में सुरक्षा रहेगी चाक चोबंद। चप्पे चप्पे पर पुलिस के जवान रहेंगे मौजूद।. मेले के महत्त्व को ध्यान में रखते हुए सुरक्षा के कड़े इंतजाम किये गए हैं। 12 किलोमीटर में फैले मेले में दो अपर पुलिस अधिक्षक 11 सीओ समेत 2658 पुलिस के जवान लगााये गये है।मंदिर के पास चार सिफ्ट में और बाहर तीन सिफ्ट में पुलिस लगाये गये है जिससे पुलिस थके न साथ ही दर्शनार्थियो कोई परेशानी न हो। मेला क्षेत्र को 8 जोन और 18 सेक्टर में बांटकर सभी संवेदनशील इलाको में राजपत्रित अधिकारियों की तैनाती कर दी गयी है. मेले की सुरक्षा में कोई कोताही न हो इस बावत गैर जनपदो से भी सुरक्षा बल बुलाया गया है।. मेले की बेहतरी के लिए रूट पर भी विशेष ध्यान रखा गया है. हर साल कि तरह भक्तों की बढ़ती भीड़ और उसके दबाव को ध्यान में रखते हुए माँ की चरण स्पर्श पर रोक रहेगी।
