Walking in POZNAN / Poland around the Old Town - 4K 60fps (UHD)
On this sunny winter day we walk from Poznan's Old Town square (Stary Rynek) around the Town Hall, churches and up to the Royal Castle. Then we head out of the Old Town for some parks and monuments before heading back via the Półwiejska pedestrian street.
With a big student population Poznan enjoys good nightlife. The city itself is nice for a walk or jogging along the Warta river which I may do again in summer.
Not a vlog, no talking or intrusive faces - just a walking tour in a cool Polish city enjoying the sun on this beautiful winter day.

We checked out Poznan city specifically a mall that was previously a factory, the opera (we didn't go in), a certain shop *cough* cough* and had a blast.

HELLO POZNAŃ! Canadians travel to Poland.
We spend our first full day in Poland exploring the beautiful city of Poznań. We start out at the Old Town Market Square seeing the fountains, Merchant’s Row and then Town Hall to see the the fightings goats at noon. We then make our way through Park Cytadela to visit old military remnants and view the sculpture called The Unrecognized. Next we head to Cathedral Island and to the area called Śródka for some Polish Dumplings called Pierogis. Finally we make our way back to Old Town by walking along the riverbank or the Warta River.

Poznań is a city on the Warta River in western Poland. It’s known for universities as well as its old town, with Renaissance-style buildings in Old Market Square.
Poznan was once the capital of Poland and is still the capital of the Wielkopolska region. Poznan lies midway between Berlin and Warsaw, which has helped make it an important town for centuries. Badly damaged in World War II, the city (especially its Old Town) has been beautifully restored. The huge Old Town Square (Stary Rynek) is one of Europe’s nicest, and is lined by fabulous historic attractions, restaurants and nightlife. The Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul is Poland’s oldest cathedral.
The most impressive structure on the Main Square has to be the deliciously elaborate Town Hall at its centre. First erected in the early 14th century, it truly flowered in mid-1500s when Italian architect Giovanni Quadro of Lugano added the Renaissance loggia, attic, and classical tower, earning the structure acclaim as “the most beautiful Renaissance town hall north of the Alps”.
Built in the same year, the Cathedral was repeatedly damaged by natural and building disasters and wars. Now it is a three-aisle Gothic basilica with pre-Romanesque and Romanesque relics, surrounded by a semicircle of chapels.
The Warta is the second longest river lying entirely in Poland; its basin of 21,084 square miles (54,607 square km) makes it the third largest in Poland. About half its length, from Kostrzyn to Konin, is navigable. The Warta drops 1,224 feet (373 m) from its headwaters to its mouth. The river drains a largely agricultural area of the Polish plain. Częstochowa, Konin, Poznań, and Gorzów Wielkopolski are major cities along its course.

I couldn't find the tram near the hotel at the train station. I had to call Uber to the hotel. After staying at Hotel Royal, I started roaming to the city center.

Last vlog of Winter in Poland trip. We stayed in Poznan for 2 nights and I love the architect buildings in Poznan, so colourful. Poznan is one my fav cities as this is my 5th visit to Poznan. Everyone in old town, nice bars, building, not over overcrowded. We only had half day in the evening to explore as I was filming another project XOXO
So didn't film much as I like to and my GoPro been ran over by our car haha. We walked around old town, had some dinner of pierogi. As long with niemal lager with raspberry juice and mulled wine! ????????

Gdańsk (Danzig in German) is a port city on the Baltic coast of Poland. At the center of its Main Town, reconstructed after WWII, are the colorful facades of Long Market, now home to shops and restaurants. Nearby is Neptune Fountain, a 17th-century symbol of the city topped by a bronze statue of the sea god. Gdańsk is also a center for the world’s amber trade; boutiques throughout the city sell the ossified resin.
Poland is the sixth most populous member state of the European Union. Poland's capital and largest metropolis is Warsaw. Other major cities include Kraków, Łódź, Wrocław, Poznań, Gdańsk, and Szczecin. Walking in KATOWICE / Poland ????????- 4K 60fps (UHD)
Katowice in the Upper Silesia region of Poland is a modern industrial city. Tourists often go to Katowice for the airport, coming from the Czech Republic or on a stop-over between Wroclaw and Krakow.
We start this evening walk at the train station with the connected shopping mall Galeria Katowicka. The walking street Stawowa leads us to the Supersam shopping mall. We quickly pass through the mall on our way to the Silesian Insurgents' Monument and park.
Then we are going to the main square Rynek and walk a bit outside of the center. We walk to and on the Mariacka street with restaurants and bars.
At last we head South through a more quiet area to end the walk at the Cathedral of Christ the King.
