Walking in ISTANBUL / Turkey ????????- 4K 60fps (UHD)
Istanbul is one of the world's greatest cities. Connecting Europe and Asia the city has an incredible history.
We start this Istanbul walk at the blue mosque in the Sulthanahmed district. We walk to and through the Grand Bazar which is a major tourist attraction.
Passing the Istanbul university campus with the Beyazit tower we walk uphill to the Suleymaniye Mosque for a view over the city. This Ottoman imperial mosque is located on the Third Hill of Istanbul and as the second largest mosque of the city. It's also worth to take a look inside, so we have a peek.
We walk some more streets outside the touristic center and back down to where it gets busy again in the market area. We end this walk at the spice market where many shops offer spices and more.

Enjoy the guided walking tour of the Galata Bridge - Istanbul, Turkey...
The Galata Bridge (Galata Köprüsü) is a bridge that spans the Golden Horn in Istanbul, Turkey. From the end of the 19th century in particular, the bridge has featured in Turkish literature, theater, poetry and novels.
The Galata Bridge was a symbolic link between the traditional city of Istanbul proper, site of the imperial palace and principal religious and secular institutions of the empire, and the districts of Galata, Beyoğlu, Şişli and Harbiye, where a large proportion of the inhabitants were non-Muslims and where foreign merchants and diplomats lived and worked. As Peyami Safa wrote in his novel, Fatih-Harbiye, a person who went from Fatih to Harbiye via the bridge set foot in a different civilization and a different culture. Apart from its place in fiction, the romantic appearance of the Galata Bridge made it the subject of many paintings and engravings.

Between 1445-1446 the Galata Tower was upgraded. It was later restored by the Turks and restored and repaired every century. In the 16th century, the Christian prisoners working at the Kasımpaşa shipyards were used as shelter for war prisoners. Sultan III. During the time of Murat, an observatory was established and this observatory was closed in 1579.
In the first half of the 17th century, Hezarfen Ahmet Çelebi planted his eagle wings on his back (1638) and flew from Galata Tower to Üsküdar. Engravings were made in England about this flight, which attracted attention in Europe. There are still articles, models and videos about this flight in many parts of the world.
As of 1717, the Galata Tower was used as the Fire Observation Tower. In the period of Selim III, more than half of the tower burned in a fire. The tower was repaired and damaged again in 1831 in a fire. In 1875, the roof cone was overturned. The last restoration, which was started in 1965 and finished in 1967, provided the tower with its present look.

Istiklal Street during Ramadan 2019 | Walking in Istanbul Tours
Istanbul was almost free of massive tourist crowds and refugees during Ramadan. We could recognize this in the museums of Istanbul and the famous Istiklal Street. I wasn't planning to make another Istiklal Street Walking video when i walked by and saw the situation. Istiklal Street looked a little like in the old days and i couldn't stop myself to film.
