Staying at a buddhist temple as a woman, my 1st experience - Thailand -May 2017
I planned to stay at Wat Pah Nanachat for about 1 week. Wat Pah Nanachat is an international Temple near Ubon Ratchathani.
I ended up staying only for 2 nights. I am telling you the story in this video, sorry it is a little bit long. But if you are really interested how it is to stay at a buddhist temple in Thailand, it might be worth watching :)

Feierliche Zeremonie des Gusses einer Buddhastatue im internationalen Waldkloster(Theravada-Tradition) Wat Pah Nanachat, im Nordosten Thailands bei Ubon Ratchathani gelegen. Es wurde 1975 von Ajahn Chah (1918-1992) als Außenstelle-Kloster in der Nähe von Wat Nong Pah Pong gegründet. Ajahn Sumedho, ein amerikanischer Schüler von ihm, war der erste Abt dieses Klosters. Das Kloster ist darauf ausgerichtet, englisch und auch deutsch sprechenden Menschen die Möglichkeit zum Erlernen und Üben der alten Lebensweise, wie sie der Buddha seinen Mönchen in den Wäldern vor über 2500 Jahren lehrte, zu bieten.
Seit 2007 ist der aus Deutschland stammende Ajahn Kevali Abt des Klosters.
