Noojee Long weekend 4X4 trip out.
Hilux stuck in a mud hole. Cased out on ruts and a ltiile too slippy. Winched out and all good.
Noojee Trestle Bridge Walk
A Day trip to Noojee for the rail trail walk to the biggest wooden trestle bridge in Victoria. a Quick stop in the Pub for a light late lunch. Then, on the way home, a stop off at TARAGO resevoir. A really nice picnic area, obviously not frequented often other than by wombats
Waterfalls - Phantom Falls - Victoria (Australia)
Falls of the Yarra Ranges National Park.
Phantom Falls can be reached through the beautiful forest walk. The track is a little bit hilly but worth the effort.
Yarra River at Pound Bend, Warrandyte, Victoria, Australia
This is a favourite swimming spot, just a few Km out of Melbourne.... there's a tunnel, built late 19th century, from which water pours out .... this tunnel was made to divert water from the river on the other side of a horse-shoe bend, so that mining the gold was made easier .... sadly, it was a failure, & the mining company folded soon after.

In 1803, Charles Grimes was given the task to survey recently discovered Port Phillip. He was the first European to discover the mouth of the Yarra River and ventured by boat as far as Dight's Falls, which he reached on February 8. The name of the falls came much later, when John Dight established Melbourne's first water powered flour mill near to the falls in the early 1840s. The location also sees Merri Creek flowing into the Yarra and prior to European discovery, it was a place of congregation for the Wurundjeri of the Kulin Alliance.

Tonimbuk Bridle Trail - Bunyip State Park
Filmed on February 11, 2012, in the Bunyip State Park, 80 km east of Melbourne. The Trail is 2 km, running alongside the Diamond Creek, starting opposite Dawson's Track, and ending at Leeges Rd, passing through the Mortimer Picnic Ground, the site of a fomer Timber Mill.

Mt. Cole State Forest - the Glut Hike
A hiking trip in the pretty Mt. Cole State Forest, 180 km west of Melbourne.
4k Gippsland Raymond Creek Falls
Raymond creek falls is in the snowy mountain national park but to get here you need to come from orbost has you can not get across river from buchan. In the video there is a dead tree growing odd things on it before I got to the falls. The walk takes 50 minuts to the bottom of the falls .The last part of the track driving to where the walk starts is very ruff and had several low tree branches coming across the track.
The Lost Yarra Falls
The Yarra Falls, located in Melbourne Water Catchment in the states mid east. Victoria's largest waterfalls closed off too the public for more than a century.

Noojee, a hidden little gem in the Gippsland region, at the sound-end of the Vic High Country. Not only is the area filled with old relics of the past, plenty of unused railway, and stunning foliage, but you'll also find many streams, waterfalls and bridges.
On this landscape photography outing, my first stop was the old Trestle Bridge in Noojee, then moving on to the Toorongo falls trail, visiting the Toorongo Falls themselves, as well as the Amphitheatre Falls.
I've visited the area quite a few times, so knew what approximate compositions I was after, making it a little easier. However there is always the unknown of weather. Thankfully after the first failed outing, the weather was perfect on my second attempt :)
