Tanzania Episode 12: Safari Weekend! Monkey Stole Her Biscuits!
Vlog 022
In this episode, we made it work- we go on a SAFARI!! Despite a busy schedule and ton of unexpected circumstances, we were able to squeeze in a last minute weekend safari with the great people of Waterbuck Safari Company. Our guide was among the best (thank you J4)! We left early Saturday and returned Sunday evening.
During the trip we make two pit stops and then we get up close and personal with a Masai local as he and a friend joke around with us. We then enter the park and were able to see so much more than we expected! Accommodations were completely taken care of by the tour company.
Easily the funniest moment - a group of monkeys gets into our vehicle and steal Jihan's biscuits! HAHA!

Kilimanjaro Golf & Wildlife Estate
The Kilimanjaro Golf & Wildlife Estate (known locally as Kiligolf) is situated in 1,040 acres of prime African bash land nestled between Mt. Kilimanjaro, Mt. Meru and the Maasai Steppe. The Kilimanjaro Golf Club, the centrepiece of the estate, is the first 18-hole championship golf course in Tanzania, designed by former European Tour champion David Jones. Beautiful properties are available for purchase on plots of land surrounding the golf course or in the nearby wildlife area. Kiligolf preserves and enhances the authentic beauty of Tanzania, offering an investment, a home, a community - and the chance to enjoy an active yet peaceful lifestyle in one of the world's most unique locations.

Tanzania, Africa, wildlife and cultural safari cinematic travel video.
We used Tanzania Adventure as our safari guide, and timed our visit to catch the great migration of wildebeest in the Southern Serengeti. We witnessed over one-million wildebeest and six-hundred-thousand zebra at Maswa Game Reserve just South of Serengeti National Park. And during the wet season, they're allowed to drive off-road, which got us a lot closer to wildlife than we could have ever possibly hoped!

We flew KLM airlines to Kilimanjaro International Airport. A few days were spent relaxing at Kiboko Lodge before our safari, exploring Arusha National Park, making our own coffee at Tengeru Coffee Tour, and visiting the Watoto Foundation for street boys.
Along with the over abundance of wildlife, we danced with the Masai, witnessed blacksmithing, maze grinding and singing with the Datoga, and went bush hunting with the Hadzabe tribes as well. We saw dozens of species, including the Big Five - lions, elephants, cape buffalos, leopards, and a black rhinoceros. We also witnessed a cheetah kill, saw dozens of giraffe, and spotted one of my personal favorites - black and white colobus monkeys!
We did the Northern Circuit. It included Arusha National Park, the Serengeti, Maswa Game Reserve, Ngorongoro Crater, and visits with the Masai, Datoga and Hadzabe tribes near Lake Eyasi.
Footage includes the Masai, Datoga and Hadzabe tribes, African elephants, zebra, wildebeest, topi, hartebeest, waterbuck, banded mongoose, spotted hyena, grey crowned crane, jackal, secretary bird, baboon, cape buffalo, Mapito Tented Camp ( and a lioness.
Thank you to Tanzania Adventure ( for making all of this possible. For links to help you in your adventure, see my travel blog:

The Giraffe And The Safari Vehicle
This was a SANParks vehicle and driver in this video speeding towards a Giraffe!
Another incident involving a Taxi caused the death of a Swiss Tourist.
Read the press release from SANParks below:
A combi with 13 Day Visitors on their way to Letaba was involved in an accident North of Mopani in the Kruger National Park (KNP) yesterday, 10 November 2019. Preliminary reports indicate that a giraffe stepped into the road, with the combi hitting it before it dropped on top of a rental safari vehicle, travelling in the opposite direction with two occupants. The driver of the rental vehicle, a Swiss national was seriously injured and later died.
“The medical personnel who rushed to the scene of the accident stabilized the Swiss driver, before airlifting him to a medical facility; he is in a critical condition and we wish him a speedy recovery. The accident resulted in the death of the giraffe; whilst two occupants from the combi were also treated for minor injuries; said the General Manager: Communications and Marketing, Isaac Phaahla.
The South African Police Service are investigating the incident and circumstances around it; therefore South African National Parks (SANParks) is appealing for people to desist from speculating and allow the investigation process to run its course. SANParks would also like to appeal to the public to always be watchful of all kinds of species while driving on the roads in the Park as they are a general site; therefore people must remember that these animals have a right of way.
“We are approaching the festive season in a month’s time and encourage visitors to plan their trips between gates and camps so as to eliminate the need to hurry, please also exercise caution as the wildlife has no concept of traffic rules” concluded Phaahla.

Rob The Ranger is a proudly South African Youtuber
The purpose of the Rob The Ranger Wildlife Videos YouTube channel is to show what it is like to experience seeing wild animals on an African safari. Nature Documentaries are often highly edited to tell a story, wildlife safaris are not, and the idea here is to show the wildlife sightings the way they were seen. Safari tours in Africa are generally suitable for all ages and this channel can be considered an educational channel about incredible nature, some scenes in the nature videos may be more graphic than people are used to but this is the reality of nature and is what you would see if you were present on such a safari in person. Safaris in Kenya, South Africa, or any other African country are an unrivalled experience for anyone with a passion for nature, wildlife photography, and travel. Hopefully the animal videos on this channel can provide a glimpse into what the nature experience is like and encourage more people to take a wildlife safari one day.

Kyabobo National Park | Ghana | Reserve, Nkwanta, Volta region on the border with Togo
Beautiful places to travel to game :
Country tournament :
Kyabobo National Park (pronounced CHAY-a-bobo) is a 360-square-kilometre (140 sq mi) national park in Ghana.[1][2]
Kyabobo is located in the Volta region on the border with Togo. The nearest town is Nkwanta.[1]
The reserve was established in 1997. Ghana's second highest mountain, Mount Dzebobo is contained within the park and offers visitors an impressive view of the Lake Volta.
The park is located in a transition zone between tropical rain forest and tree savanna. The Park's wildlife includes African bush elephants, African leopards, African buffalo, waterbuck, several primate species, bushbuck, duikers and, a symbol for the park, the rock hyrax. A park survey lists at least 500 species of butterflies and 235 birds.[1]
