Wee Jasper is a village in the Goodradigbee valley at the western foot of the Brindabella Ranges, near Burrinjuck Dam in New South Wales, Australia in Yass Valley Shire. It is located 80 km north-west of Canberra and 54 km south-west of Yass. At the 2016 census, Wee Jasper and the surrounding area had a population of 100.

Drive to Wee Jasper reserves via Baldy Range Trail

We drove out to Wee Jasper via the Brindabellas to have a look around. Along the way we stumbled across some amazing views and were suprised by the camp spots in and around Wee Jasper. Cant wait to go back!

Directions: Blue Range Rd, Left onto Two Stick Rd, Right onto Dingi Dingi trail, Right onto Baldy Range Trail, Left onto Doctors Flat Rd, follow Doctors Flat until you hit the tar.

Lai and Garry took an impromptu weekend getawy to a little place called Wee Jasper - about an hour and a half NW of Canberra. Accommodation was as usual in the AVan, parked on a beautiful little reserve called Billy Grace. Weather was perfect. It was rather special as we were celebrating two years together :)

Near the village are several camping and recreation reserves close to numerous caves. The best known cave is Carey's Cave , a system of 7 caverns lying just north of the town.
