The small city is surrounded by karst mountains, winding rivers and beautiful scenery.
Main street of this town is WEST STREET.
It is really touristic place and many restaurant, hotel, tour office, shopping store, bar, club...
Some people like this kind of atmosphere but some don't...
Although the karst mountains and river around this town is very very beautiful!

West Street is the oldest street in Yangshuo with a history of more than 1,400 years. Situated at the center of Yangshuo County, the street has become, since the 1980's, a window of eastern and western culture and the biggest 'foreign language center' in China. It is the most prosperous district in Yangshuo, and, each year, approximately 100,000 foreigners come here on their travels or to attend advanced studies. Visitors are attracted to West Street by its unique mix of cultures.

West Street in Yangshuo
The West Street has a history of around 1400 years. It existed in 590 AD when Yangshuo County was established by the imperial government of the Sui Dynasty (581 -- 618 AD). There were just several small shops that sold daily necessities at that time.
In the early 1970s, some western tourists found the West Street when they visited Yangshuo. Thanks to them, more and more foreign tourists have been attracted to visit this street. Today, bars, cafes, local snack shops, craftworks shops and souvenir shops have appeared on the street. After around 1400 years of expansion, it has transformed from an unknown street to a well-known tourist attraction in Yangshuo.

Beer Fish is sold everywhere in Yangshuo included West Street in the town Center. These streets attract many walks of life - tourists, students and locals and lots of drinking, chatting, singing and dancing in the bars. And, of course, there's also venders and street food and entertainment. The lights, sounds and different languages, make an unusual atmosphere with many walks of life, drinking and having fun in the street. Meanwhile families in the street are also walking around. Funny -I was fooled into thinking this was a quiet town...

The best views in Yangshuo are accessible from the town centre, but it's a pretty long climb up to the top of a mountain. We followed the instructions on how to get there by ILP Blog, a really good article. Remember to bring 10 Yuan per person:

A much less physically demanding climb to some nice views over the town. It's a really nice public park too, definitely worth checking out.

Great place to stay, just outside the town centre. An amazing pool, with great views. Dorms are £3 a night and private rooms (en-suite) with a balcony are £18.
4:55 - Yangshuo National Park
This is where you'll spend most of your time and where you will find the famous bamboo rafts that you've seen on Instagram. We rented bicycles to get around, but some people rent mopeds/motorbikes instead. You're going to want the freedom of your own transport.
