Canada 200 Cars on Public Streets of Langford
Prior to the Canada 200, at Western Speedway in Victoria, several of the race cars took part in a parade through the streets of Langford, escorted by police.

The Late Models will take to the track for a gruelling 200 laps to crown the winner of the most coveted Late Model Race in Western Canada, the Reg Midgley Canada 200. The BC Street Stocks will once again battle for 75 Laps, and crown a series Champion. Also, AMCA Dwarf Cars, Mini Stocks, & Old Timers racing association will be in action. Grandstands open at 4:00, Qualifying 4:00, Westshore Towing Fan Fest 4:30(Time permitting) and Racing at 5:00. Admission Prices: Adults $15.00, Sr/Youth(ages13-18) & Military $10.00, Kids(ages 7-12) $7.00, Family Pass (2 adults & 4 kids or 2 adults & 2 Youth) $35.00. Canada's oldest speedway - Western Speedway ( Go Karts )
Western Speedway is located just outside Victoria, British Columbia, in the All Fun Recreation Park which features go-karts, batting cages, and mini golf. It is a 4/10-mile (643 meter) paved oval track that was founded in 1954, and it is western Canada's oldest speedway. It is southern Vancouver Island's prime speedway with its president Darrell Midgley. It will seat up to 3,000 fans park up to 1,500 cars with a season running from March to late October. Western Speedway hosts mainly stock cars, demo cars/trucks, dwarf cars, drag races, and mini figure 8 cars and monster trucks and much much more.

The 15th Annual IEOA Truck Light Convoy and Food Drive
Every year the Island Equipment Owners Association gets together, decorates their big trucks and parades throughout our city. The parade starts at 5:45 pm at Ogden Point, winds along Dallas Road and through Oak Bay and ends at roughly 8:15 pm at Western Speedway.
This event supports the Mustard Seed Food Bank, Westshore Christmas Hamper Fund Society and the Sidney Lions Food Bank
