Beautiful Path in Wharton Park Durham
For aboout 80 years this delightful path has linked North Road in Durham City to Durham Station and beyond. But now that Wharton Park has received a Heritage Lottery Grant, the path is to be closed.

Durham in 1 minute 2018 - Drone footage 4K
This was filmed and edited in winter 2018 featuring the most beautiful landmarks in Durham both from the ground and the sky. Aerial clips were taken on DJI Mavic Air. This certainly helped me rediscover what Durham looks like. I am pretty sure it gives you an opportunity to see the beauty of this small city from a different perspective.
Shooting locations include Durham Cathedral, Durham Castle, Prebends Bridge, Durham railway station, River Wear, etc.

Path from North Road to Durham Station via Wharton Park
After winning a lottery grant to change Wharton Park, as well as to improve its footpaths, a vital section of the path to Durham Station from the lower end of North Road is to be closed. The film follows the entire course of this pleasant, convenient and historic route to the station to preserve a record of our heritage before it is lost.

Walton Park five mile race in 1994. Merseyside running was probably at its peak around about this time, as far as depth of talent goes. Some faces now sadly missed.
