Downtown Bellingham Wa Things To Do - One Of The Healthiest Cities In Western Washington
Subdued Excitement In Downtown Bellingham Washington. Downtown Bellingham WA has many restaurants, clubs and bars to keep you entertained or at least distracted day and night. Many club venues have live music at night and on weekends.
The Downtown area near Bellingham's waterfront has an upscale urban village look and feel that has been intentionally fostered to help local businesses compete with other larger shopping corridors like Guide Meridian Ave. and Bellis Fair Mall.
Over the last decade there have been many new high rise condominiums built near downtown giving the area hundreds of residents happy to stroll the streets and frequent downtown businesses.
Night life in Downtown Bellingham is surprisingly lively and diverse perhaps due to Bellingham's College Town status--- Bellingham is home to Western Washington University.
If you're looking for things to do in Downtown Bellingham you might want to consider checking out are Museums including the SPARK museum, home to the awesome Megazapper Tesla Coil.
Bellingham's waterfront is also a popular staging area for vising the San Juan Islands. Along the downtown waterfront you will find whale watching tour operators and charter companies.

Fairhaven Water Front: Bellingham, WA.
Welcome to Droningham. In this episode I fly around the Fairhaven water fount. I flew over towards Boulevard park then back again. Very nice morning for a fly around. I was lucky and a train pasted by. Had to chase It down.
Sorry for the quick pans and shifty camera work. I was taking the Phantom 3 out for a spin. It was my first real long flight with it and was just amazed at what I could see. I just love to fly and sharing the videos makes it more fun. I forget to try to be a good videographer.
Any suggestions of places you like to see me fly drop just comment below.

2013 Most Endangered Properties List - Washington State
Every year, many historic properties across the state of Washington are threatened by demolition or neglect. Collectively, these properties contribute to the quality of life we enjoy and shape the daily experiences of living in small towns, large cities and rural countryside across the state. It is an understatement to say that our historic resources help to paint a distinct Washington portrait, and it is certainly no overstatement to conclude that their loss would leave large gaps in that canvas.
2013 Most Endangered List extended videos:
Battelle/Talaris Campus, Seattle, King County:
Colville Indian Agency, Chewelah, Stevens County:
Digester Building, Bellingham, Whatcom County:
Electric Building, Aberdeen, Grays Harbor County:
Haller House, Coupeville, Island County:
Mukai Farm & Garden, Vashon Island, King County:
St. Nicholas Church, Gig Harbor, Pierce County:
Since 1992 the Washington Trust for Historic Preservation has maintained a Most Endangered Historic Properties List, bringing attention to threatened buildings, sites and historic places in Washington State.

Bellingham Washington Visitor Info - Bellingham Washington's Waterfront Welcomes Visitors
Bellingham Washington is known as one of Washington's most livable small cities. Located close to the Canadian border has made Bellingham WA is also popular with Canadian shoppers and day trippers from Vancouver and southern British Columbia.
The city of Bellingham WA has been placed on a number of national best places to live lists and its easy to see why. Bellingham has a wealth of outdoor recreational activities right at its doorstep from skiing, hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, fishing in freshwater and saltwater, and much more.
The city of Bellingham's Squalicum Harbor is home to a fleet of commercial fishing boats, private yachts, Whale Watching excursion boats. Due to Bellingham's close proximity to the San Juan Islands it also hosts a substantial fleet of charter boats and yacht.
The city of Bellingham has been given a rare opportunity to redevelop a large portion of its waterfront due to the closure of a large paper products factory owned by Georgia Pacific. The large tract of land once owned by paper products giant has been donated to the city of Bellingham. The city lost a major employer but it gained what could be one of Washington State's most amazing new waterfront developments--that is if you could get people to agree on what to do with it.
Does the state really need another children's museum?
Does the state really need another cruise terminal?
Does the state really need another sea life park?
Does the state really need another shopping center?
Does the state really need more luxury condos?
It will be interesting to see what ultimately happens to the waterfront--Stand by.

About Jyoti DuwadiJyoti Duwaldi
Born into a family of poets and writers, Jyoti Duwadi was exposed art and literature while growing up in Darjeeling, Varanasi, and Kathmandu. He moved to the United States in 1971 and lived in Southern California where he began making and exhibiting multi-media work that synthesized his South Asian roots with modern and contemporary Western art. The artist has since traveled extensively, incorporating ideas, images and materials that contribute to a vibrant and diverse body of work. Moving freely among different media—sculpture, painting, video, installation, and digital art—Duwadi maintains an intimate relationship with nature and the cultures of both North America and Nepal. The artist currently divides his time between his studio in Bellingham, Washington, in the United States and Kathmandu, Nepal, where he pioneered public art installations that address political and environmental issues.
