Paradise Falls is located in Wildwood Regional Park in Thousand Oaks, California. The park covers more than 1,800 acres managed by the Conejo Open Space Conservation Agency. There are a variety of trails to choose from. The hike itself from the parking area is approximately 1 mile. The trail to the falls is pretty flat and you will actually descend a few hundred feet down. Half a mile from the falls, you will notice the Teepee and make sure you turn right. You will hear the waterfall and you basically just head down. Be careful of the poison oak near the falls.

Hiking Wildwood Park (Thousand Oaks, CA)
Wildwood Park is a stunning nature preserve in Thousand Oaks, California. From Los Angeles, take Highway 101 North to the 23 North. Exit Avenida De Los Arboles. Go West on Arboles (Left) until the road ends. You will see the trailhead at the end of the road. Wildlife is abundant. I have scene rattle snakes, deer, coyote, hawks, owls and a bobcat in the area. It's a fantastic day hike. The highlight is a 50 foot waterfall aptly named Paradise Falls.

Wildwood Canyon Hike (hi-def), Burbank, CA
This is why I love Southern California. Filmed in 720p hi-def with my iPod Touch, 4th gen. It was 93 degrees when I started. I suggest selecting 720p (lower right of the viewing window) and going full screen for the best views.
