Spirit Box Session 4 Woodend Cemetery, Victoria, Australia
It was the day before my birthday and my beautiful West Australian mate was in town for birthday hangs so figured a day trip was in order out to Woodend in Victoria, Australia, to go suss out their sorta secret 'magnetic' type hill (you know, where you put yr car in neutral and it 'drives itself' up a hill. Bumped into a mate there as well doing the same thing haha RANDOM!
Anyway, while driving around we found the local cemetery and decided to pull out the Spirit Box (this is a device that generates white noise through fast radio frequency sweeps where it has been claimed spirits can utilize the energy and speak through the white noise)
Walking around the cemetery we all noticed that in one particular corner in the old section, the air was really dense and the air was heavy... so figured that that would be a good spot to pull out the Spirit Box.
We got some interesting results.
(On 28 March, 1861 a 6 acre, 1 rood, 24 perch site was Gazetted for a cemetery for the township. The Trustees of the Cemetery were Gazetted on 3 April 1861, with a register commencing in 1862. This register contained details of who bought plots and where they are located within the Cemetery.)
After a tiring day we decided to head over to the Victoria Hotel for a frothy and a feed before the long drive back. Here we had a few strange encounters which tells us something was definitely trying to get our attention, check our spirit box video of The Buttons... . Enjoy.

here's what I wrote on the day it happened...
September 17th 2018:
Today we had a few 'weird' experiences happen to us in Woodend. After our Magnetic Hill and Woodend cemetery spirit box session we were totally famished and ended up at the Victoria Hotel (in Woodend) for a frothy and a feed before the long drive back.
After playing Hookey we decided we were gonna go sit in the bistro area near the open fire and warm up a bit and chat about our day. Realising the food costs more to sit there we decided to go back into the bar area and as we got up Camel saw a chunk of fluff drop from the ceiling from the pole post in the middle of the room. Ok so weird we thought and went back in the bar and as Alanna sat down she noticed she had some weird hair attached to her black jumper... clumps of it. I felt it and it was wirey...Alanna descibes it as an orangey golden colour and bits of grey... after that weirdness we ordered and ate our dinner not thinking much more about it.
Until....after dinner I got up to go to the bathroom and we all heard something drop. I looked on the floor and noticed a button. A clear, see through twin hole button. NONE of us had buttons on our clothing. I took a photo of the button and continued to the toilet. (Which by the way, was like stepping into an ice cold freezer)... as I walked back out to the bar Alanna and Camel were like 'THERE'S ANOTHER BUTTON!' Apparently as Alanna stood up an identical button fell out of no where.

Toowong Cemetry Part 2 of 2
Class 20s from Sutton Colliery
A morphing of new into old as the view changes from 31-3-2013 to 24-8-1989.
The location is the site of the long closed Whiteboro Station (which once served Huthwaite, Nottinghamshire), now on the 'Silverhill Trail' and part of the 'Phoenix Greenways' - an excellent local network of multi-user trails created and maintained by the local authorities.
The signal post was added during work to upgrade the trails, and marks the Nottinghamshire/Derbyshire border.
The road overbridge is alongside the Woodend Inn on Chesterfield Road, Huthwaite.
Back in 1989, Class 20s 20215 and 20108 restart a coal train from Sutton Colliery (locally known as Brierley Colliery and closed in 1989) and head off down the bank, passing underneath the M1 Motorway to join the Erewash Valley line at Westhouses.
Green Corps - Graduation Presentation
This is a video I made for my Green Corps Graduation about a month ago. It went along side the powerpoint presentation.
It shows the site we worked on and the work we've done like plant trees, clearing, etc.
A random road trip..
A most ridiculous random vid. At Sunbury in the morning for work reasons, but then finished up, had the camera stashed and hours to kill.
So I whizzed through Sunbury and drove down a nearby road that was the setting of a Mad Max scene. I love the Mad Max original! Must have seen it 50 times, and it gets even better with age.
Ate fatty foodstuffs. Then to Gisborne, Woodend, and Trentham where I pay a visit to the local cemetery (I just LOVE graveyards!).
Drove through Bacchus Marsh (didn't stop), picked up a VHS rarity at Melton (I filmed there but unfortunately the movie file ended up corrupted for some reason and therefore could not be included), and then back home to Melbourne. Trawled through some thrift shops that I came across along the way, which is what I always do no matter where I go.
By the way it's hayfever season shit for those with hypersensitive immune systems, if you couldn't already tell.
