- The Woodford Post Office in the Blue Mountains of NSW, Australia, is an LPO (or licensed post office) and, apart from selling stamps and other Australia Post items, sells clothing, arts and crafts, used books, etc. It is a post office combined with an old fashioned general store. It feels a bit like an old-time post office of a hundred years ago and is really worth a visit!

Woodford Railway Station, Blue Mountains, NSW, Australia
- A video tour of the beautifully-maintained historic railway station at Woodford in the Blue Mountains area of NSW, Australia.
This station opened in 1868 and the current building was built in 1902. The platform is decorated with numerous shrubs and flowers (including roses).
There is a Booking Office which accommodates travelers in comfort with cushions on the seats. This office has a large mural showing two women commuters flagging down a train in the late 19th century (the design was taken from an illustration of this very station in a 19th century magazine). It also has two railway indicator boards from the pre-computer era.
Woodford Station offers a spectacular view over the Blue Mountains National Park -- more specifically, over the Grose Valley in the direction of Mt Tomah.
The southern entrance to Woodford Station features a colorful mural showing local wildlife and plants surmounted by a Qantas jetliner and two flying saucers
Alarming reports have appeared in the local press in 2009 and 2010 stating that CityRail is considering closing the ticketing office (including the Booking Office). The ticketing office, once open daily till 2pm, is now open only from 5.45 am to 10.15 am.
