Enter the surreal and post-cubistic worlds of La Muralla Roja and Xanadu within the complex of La Manzanera designed by reknown visionary architect Ricardo Bofill. Our Spring/Summer 2018 campaign will take you on a fantastic journey through these unique buildings in Calpe, Spain.

La Muralla Roja is a surreal fortress expanding on the natural contours of the steep rocky cliff at the seaside inspired by the architecture of the Arab Mediterranean while breaking the tradition of the Kasbah and it‘s division between public and private space.

Xanadu seems like a prototype experiment in which every apartment consists of three cubes of which their dimensions are determined by their purpose. These cubes were grouped around a vertical axis: the stairwell.
