Also known as denken districts, the Traditional Architecture Preservation Districts designated by the national government consists of total 110 unique locations throughout Japan. There are five of them in Fukuoka Prefecture.

Yang Changqin is the successor of Chishui bamboo weaving, a provincial intangible cultural heritage in Guizhou Province. On the basis of the original planar bamboo weaving, Yang Changqin innovated a series of three-dimensional and fine bamboo weaving techniques by combining bamboo weaving with practical living utensils, which gave new forms and vitality to bamboo weaving techniques, and made this ancient technology glow.
