Come along with us to the biggest cherry blossom festival at Jinhae, Korea! Anime dreams of cherry blossoms came true in this vlog! SO much pink colors! I added lovely music to make it more epic and romantic. In case you were wondering about our transportation, we booked a tour bus through the app Klook.

봄의 향연 '진해군항제' 개막
The warm weather in Korea as of late isn't the only sign of Spring.
Nature provides a visual cue on the new season's arrival.
Our Kim Hyesung takes us to one of the biggest cherry blossom festivals in the country where you can soak in the changing hue.

Spring is in full swing here in Korea, and the cherry trees have burst into bloom, covering the country in a pale blush.
Most notable among the cities celebrating the occasion is Jinhae, located in southeastern Korea, where the 55th Jinhae Cherry Blossom Festival, or Gunhangje, is underway.
Over 360,000 cherry trees line Jinhae's streets, rivers, and even the train tracks, creating a panoramic view where the pink blossoms contrast sharply with the greenery underneath.
Breathtaking pink petals flutter in the wind at Gyeonghwa Station, drawing around three million locals and visitors from Korea and around the world during the festival.
Actually we planned like a year ago, the flower blooms only in ten days, so we made sure we came in the right schedule and we witness how beautiful the cherry blossom is and it's amazing. It's an experience we can never forget.
It's a once in a lifetime experience
The spring festival started in honor of Admiral Yi Sun-shin, the national hero, and has since become an annual cultural event.
At night, thousands of LED lights illuminate the trees along the one-and-a-half-kilometer-long Yeojwacheon Stream, turning the blossoms into a sea of light
Heart shaped figures and flowers installed under the Romance Bridge, a famous location for Korean dramas, creates an air of romance for the lovebirds.
This the biggest cherry blossom festival in Korea, so I came here all the way from Seoul today with my girlfriend. The scale, the structures and, of course, the cherry blossoms are stunning
Sadly, the beauty here is as fleeting as any other -- the festival is only on for ten days through April 10th.
Concerts and a special honor guard parade are planned for the weekend, which is sure to bring even more revelers to Jinhae for a taste of the spring blossoms.

*Yeojwacheon Stream (여좌천) area is well known as one of Jinhae’s best spots for viewing the famous cherry flower blossoms. It is also the location of the bridge where the two leading characters (Gwanu and Chaewon) of ‘Romance’, MBC’s TV series, first met as tourists who came to Jinhae to watch the Naval Port Festival. After the episode was aired, the bridge instantly became popular and widely known as the ‘Romance Bridge’. Each April the whole city of Jinhae is filled with cherry blossoms, but the Yeojwa Stream area has the most beautiful cherry blossom which makes it a prime tourist attraction.

Bunga berwarna pink yang khas memenuhi desa dan dapat dipastikan anda akan tertarik untuk mengabadikan momen tersebut menggunakan kamera anda. Usahakan untuk berangkat lebih awal pada pagi hari dan tiba di Jinhae pada siang hari, sebelum mengikuti tour ke Yeojwacheon Stream, terkenal sebagai lokasi terbaik untuk melihat bunga sakura yang sangat indah. Kawasan ini juga merupakan lokasi di mana jembatan terkenal yang menjadi tempat pertemuan dua karakter utama serial TV Romance tahun 2002, sesuai dengan namanya - Romance Bridge. Pemberhentian anda selanjutnya adalah Gyeonghwa Station, lokasi observasi luar biasa lainnya di mana terdapat barisan pohon sakura yang bermekaran di sepanjang rel kereta sepanjang 800 meter.

Jinhae Gunhangje Festival (진해군항제) 2016
My girlfriend and I went down to Jinhae to checkout the Jinhae Gunhangje Festival cherry blossom festival. It took us awhile to get to both Yeojwacheon stream romance bridge and Gyeonghwa station because we got lost so many times, let's just say I'm not the best with directions. It's a shame though that we didn't get to see more of the many events going on, but the parts we did see were definitely worth the hassle getting there.
