China industrial park explosion kills 19
An explosion at an industrial park in China's Sichuan province has left 19 people dead and 12 others injured, according to state news agency Xinhua.In a statement quoted by Reuters, the authorities in Jiang'an county said the blast happened at a chemical plant run by Yibin Hengda Technology.Photos on Chinese social media showed a huge fire and plumes of smoke rising from the facility.It is not clear what caused the explosion.It follows previous high-profile disasters at chemical plants in China.In 2015, 173 people died in an explosion in a chemical warehouse in the north-eastern port city of Tianjin.

As 'Sword of Destiny', the sequel to 'Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon', is released, China Icons brings you amazing drone and documentary footage from one of the original movie’s most iconic locations.
During the filming, baby-faced Zhang Ziyi and Chow Yun-Fat de-camped to China’s Shunan Bamboo Sea in Sichuan Province, SW China.
One of the largest bamboo forests in China, the Bamboo Sea is in Shunan Zhuhai National Park. It covers 120sq km and its bamboo is used in everything from cooking to furniture crafting.
Filming also took place in Anji Bamboo Forest, four hours drive from Shanghai and famous for White Tea.
With his leading actors performing martial arts in the bamboo tree-tops, Ang Lee was fulfilling his cinematic dreams. When the film was released in 2000, its legendary choreographer Yuen Woo-ping ('The Matrix'; 'Snake in the Eagle’s Shadow' and 'Drunken Master', both with Jackie Chan), described it as ‘probably the hardest scene I have ever done’, requiring him to more than double the amount of people in his team to make it happen.
His wirework wizardry sparked an international interest in wuxia martial arts films – where ancient Chinese warriors perform almost magical martial arts – and the film continues to be the highest grossing foreign film EVER in US box office history. Yuan Woo-ping returns to the set of 'Sword of Destiny' - this time as director.
