Japanese Women's Pro-Wrestling - The Bloodlines / 女子プロレス - 血統
The formation of JWP in 1986 had led to three major developments. First, was simply another company existing, which allowed for another brand to be developed with a different style and different vision. Second, was challenging the status quo of AJW, as their restrictions and age requirements had prematurely ended the careers of many greats. Third, was the possibility of inter-promotional matches. By the time that became a reality in 1993, there was not only AJW and JWP, but also the LLPW and FMW's women as well. The joshi puroresu genre went from being a phenomenon amongst teenage girls to an incredibly popular form of pro-wrestling along with the traditional groups, shoot style groups, death match groups and lucha libre groups. The joshi puroresu scene went from two companies at the beginning of the decade to at least seven (other companies, like FMW, had women's divisions) and the Japanese economy was struggling through what is known as the Lost Decade. The appeal of inter-promotional matches died down, the top talent that would have been forced out a decade ago was growing stagnant and the younger talent was struggling to break through.

Wrestling Universe AJW vs JWP PC Engine Arcade CD Game Intro
Here is the intro clip from the 3rd AJW videogame. It is for the PC-Engine System (TurboDuo) This game is CD based so it features real voiceovers & some digitized footage/music. The intro features a song which I kinda like. Anybody have any info on this song? Sorry about the quality of sound but my system is dying a slow death. After the intro is the song again but with lyrics because I like it so much but with pictures of the music group?? They look a bit like wrestlers? Anybody have any info of who they are??Game as always is based on the Fire Pro Wrestling game engine and plays the same but its actually licensed so they use real names. Game came out in 1995. Enjoy!
