After 3 weeks in Manila we decided to hop into the car for a little road trip. We went south to explore a bit more of Batangas and we decided to stay in Anilao. We found probably THE best Airbnb in Batangas which is directly by the beach.

The Most Underrated Dive Spot in the Philippines
Anilao is unpopular because it doesn't have the nice white and fine beach that Visayas, Palawan, and Mindanao has to offer. However, the underwater coral garden of this wonderful cove is unmatched by any dive sites in the Philippines. These are 3 reasons why you should try exploring Anilao, Batangas.

I just had a vacation last week in Manila. I visited my girlfriend and we decided to travel together to Masasa Beach Tingloy island, Batangas Philippines. It is such an amazing travel destination.
Tingloy Island is one of the best islands I've been to. It is one of the best tourist destinations in the Philippines. It has rich marine resources that makes it one of the best snorkeling sites in the Philippines. I enjoyed swimming with colorful fishes and sea turtles. Plus, the view of rich and colorful corals are mesmerizing. Snorkeling is a must try when you visit in Tingloy.
Other things to enjoy in Tingloy Island is to swim in Masasa Beach with their white sand beach with clear water. Also, stroll around the island's rock formation just a minutes away from Masasa beach.

SANTELMO COVE | The clearest waters in Batangas?
Santelmo Cove is one of the 13 coves of Hamilo Coast in Nasugbu, Batangas. Nasugbu is known for its beaches and the nearest beach destination from Manila.
The cove is beside the main cove of Hamilo, Pico de Loro. It can be reached through hiking or boat ride from Pico de loro cove.
The beach is stunning. It's probably the most beautiful beach in Batangas. It has a white sand beach and crystal clear waters. It's like a swimming pool! It also has a beautiful reef, which is a marine protected area. The reef is perfect for snorkeling.
Half of the shallows is rocky while the other half is just pure sand. The sandy part is perfect for swimming.
The cove, however, is a private property and can only be accessed in coordination with Pico de Loro leisure estate, which is a member-exclusive destination.
Pico de Loro also has residential condominiums and some owners rent their units out at Airbnb. So that is one way to get access to the estate.
