Kutch district (also spelled as Kachchh) is a district of Gujarat state in western India. Covering an area of 45,674 km², it is the largest district of India. The population of Kutch is 2,092,371. It has 10 Talukas, 939 villages and 6 Municipalities.
Kutch literally means something which intermittently becomes wet and dry; a large part of this district is known as Rann of Kutch which is shallow wetland which submerges in water during the rainy season and becomes dry during other seasons. The same word is also used in Sanskrit origin for a tortoise. The Rann is famous for its marshy salt flats which become snow white after the shallow water dries up each season before the monsoon rains.

1. Bhadreshwar Jain Temple
Bhadreshwar Jain Temple, also known as Vasai Jain Temple, is a Jain temple of historical importance located in Bhadreshwar village of Mundra Taluka, Kutch, Gujarat, India.
2. Narayan Sarovar
A 125km drive away from Bhuj, this sanctuary covers an area of about 444 sq. km. and is one of the distinct eco-system in the Kutch district of Gujarat state.
3. Kutch Museum
The oldest museum of Gujarat, the Kutch Museum boasts of its collection of the extinct Kutchi Script and ancient coins. Tribal artifacts are also a part of the museum along with many other kinds of objects on display exhibits of embroidery, paintings, arms, musical instruments, sculpture and precious metalwork.
4. Indian Wild Ass Sanctuary
This uniquely named sanctuary, located in Little Rann of Kutch, is India's biggest wildlife sanctuary spreading over a massive 4954 square kilometer. It is home to a wide variety of carnivores, mammals, birds.
The sanctury is best known for the endangered species of the Indian wild ass like Khur as well as the Asiatic wild ass species, Oranger. Other kinds of mammals, reptiles, amphibians are also found in this area.
5. Mandvi Beach
Situated in the Kutch region of Gujarat, Mandvi Beach is a pristine and tranquil sea shore which is one of the most popular holiday destinations in the region. It is endowed with a calm and clean environment and makes for a peaceful getaway from the city.
