In this video, we take you along on a family RV road trip down the Texas Gulf Coast to Aransas Pass and Corpus Christi, TX! Our son joins us as we stay at Southern Oaks Luxury RV Resort, watch a Corpus Christi Hooks baseball game (AA affiliate team for the Houston Astros) at Whataburger Field, and tour the historic USS Lexington, a WWII era aircraft carrier turned museum!
This area (particularly Rockport, Port Aransas and Aransas Pass) got hit hard by Hurricane Harvey in August 2017. Southern Oaks Luxury RV Resort sustained significant damage in the storm. We show you what the resort looks like today and talk about how the area is recovering.

Huntsville State Park | Camping in Texas | Park Host Tips | RV Texas
With its close proximity to Houston (just north about an hour up I-45/I-75), Huntsville State Park is an easy to reach state park that offers camping, hiking, fishing, paddling, geocaching and just plain relaxing all in the shade of the beautiful East Texas forest. This state park is located just outside of the Sam Houston National Forest and is a great place to spend a day, a weekend or a week out in nature.

Me and my family take a trip to Port Aransas, Texas once every year. It's always nothing but good vibes. I didn't get to skate the park this time but there is always next year. Also didn't get to record as much as I wanted cause of memory. I did my best to edit this video and make it as short as possible. Goliad State Park and Historic Site | RV Texas
Remember Goliad! If you are interested at all in Texas history, Goliad should absolutely be one of your stops! In this video, we give you a tour of Goliad State Park and Historic Site including Mission Espiritu Santo, an historic 18th century Spanish Mission reconstructed by the Civilian Conservation Corps during the 1930s, which is located inside the state park!

Jamaica Beach RV Park is an RV Resort on Galveston Island on the Texas Gulf Coast. Amenities at this family owned and operated RV park include mini golf, 2 swimming pools, indoor hottub, onsite store, propane and ice, movies under the stars and the new 700 foot lazy river!!! Jamaica Beach RV Park is one of our favorite places to stay in our RV. We've visited every year since 2013. Watch the video and we think you'll see why!

10 Free Things to Do on the Mississippi Gulf Coast
The Mississippi Gulf Coast has weathered its share of calamity in the past two decades. The devastating force of Hurricane Katrina and the widespread publicity surrounding a Gulf oil spill made visitors reluctant to visit the charming coastal communities of the Magnolia State. People here are accustomed to bouncing back from hardships, and they welcome visitors to places that often feature prices that are lower than more famous coastal towns in nearby states.
Though any tourism dollars help keep this destination up and running, there are at least 10 free things to do in this region to add to your itinerary.
