Huasquila Amazon Lodge Ecuador
We always get asked where to stay when visiting the Amazon.
Well many factors play into your decisions. How deep do you want to venture into the jungle, or do you need comfortable hotel style lodging, or do you require an all inclusive lodge where the day is tailored and geared towards your level of experience, and exploration enthusiasm. Three delicious meals reserved and served just for you. Or do you still need to be connected to the world (internet) and still feel like you are somewhere in the middle of nowhere. So we know many that need to be pampered and also need that level of comfort met. Nothing wrong with that. So we found a Amazon lodge that we think you can live your dreams of visiting the Amazon and not roughing it.
Janis and Gary, visited Huasquila Amazon Lodge located 25 minutes north of Tena in Cotundo Ecuador. An amazing all-inclusive Amazon lodge that caters to nature lovers like you.

Napo river festival in Tena city
Tena, Ecuador, 2009. a mixture of indigenous traditions and adventure sports. The Napo is a tributary to the Amazon River that rises in Ecuador on the flanks of the volcanoes of Antisana, Sincholagua and Cotopaxi.
Before it reaches the plains it receives a great number of small streams from impenetrable, saturated and much broken mountainous districts, where the dense and varied vegetation seems to fight for every piece of ground. From the north it is joined by the river Coca, having its sources in the gorges of Cayambe (volcano) on the equator, and also a powerful river, the Aguarico, having its headwaters between Cayambe and the Colombian frontier.
Vlog #5: Papallacta
The hot springs of Papallacta are a great place to relax, but if you're looking for some more adventure, there are some great places to hike in the same area. My friends and I got to walk about in the beautiful (but muddy) area just above the springs of Papallacta, Ecuador.
I'll be in the Amazon this upcoming weekend, so the video blog will be put up on YouTube earlier. I'll have it announced on the blog at its normal time, but if you subscribe to this channel, you'll get access earlier in the week.
Hope you all are doing well! Have fun with your adventures!
