Aurano is a comune in the Province of Verbano-Cusio-Ossola in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 130 kilometres northeast of Turin and about 15 kilometres northeast of Verbania. Aurano borders the following municipalities: Cannero Riviera, Falmenta, Intragna, Miazzina, Oggebbio, Premeno, Trarego Viggiona. Its territory is included in the National Park of Val Grande.
