Me and my friends had fun here. If you want an affordable beach i recommended this place. You need to walk down more than a dozen steps from the parking area to the beach so this is not recommended for people with mobility problems. They have a good wide beach with shallow swimming areas. The sand is grayish in color and not too fine. The good one thing here too is you can bring your own food and drinks inside the resort. They have a picnic hut on the beach. You can do Swimming, snorkeling, fishing, boating, playing ball and a lot more. The staff is very helpful.

For the commuters, board buses to Nasugbu, Batangas (or vans at EDSA Rotonda or Buendia corner Taft Avenue) then a tricycle to Munting Buhangin Beach.
If you have a car, from SLEX, take Sta. Rosa exit all the way to Tagaytay and turn right after Tagaytay Public Market (and Tagaytay Econo Inn). Follow the highway, passing by Alfonso (Cavite) and until you reach kilometer marker 93, the so called Likuan, where you turn right (left turn leads to Balayan town). You will pass by Nasugbu town proper, Cawayan Cove, Tali Beach, and Terrazas de Punta Fuego.

This is a Throwback Slideshow Video. The date was March 1, 2008. The location, Mt. Batulao (811 masl) between Nasugbu and Balayan towns in Batangas.
Bong joined the Delbros AB Normal Club headed by Ed Delgado for a day hike of the popular mountaineering destination in Batangas. Later that day they spent the night camping in Caleruega.
According to local lore, the mountain got its name from Batong Umiilaw (glowing stone or rock) which later morphed into Batulaw, and later still, into Batulao. That was probably how the mountain must have appeared at night when viewed from a distance back then, probably before the age of bright electric-powered lights.
Mt. Batulao is a popular mountaineering destination because of its close proximity from Metro Manila. It is also a relatively easy mountain to climb, conducive even for first time or neophyte climbers.
But it is also a very beautiful mountain with its own unique characteristics. The long trail to the summit follows the mountain's ridge-line, which somehow looks like the jagged back of a huge dinosaur. The trail is mostly through the top of the ridge which is generally a grassland. There is hardly any shelter from the scorching heat of the sun so it is a particularly hot climb especially during the summer season, which is also when the mountain is busiest. But then this also provide hikers an unhindered view of the surrounding landscape. At the summit hikers are treated to a 360° panoramic view of the Batangas plains, Taal Lake, and Balayan Bay.

Exploring Dumaguete Philippines Finding Dumaguete's Twin Lakes
Today we will be exploring the area of dumaguete finding amazing places and views, in particular the twin lakes located in the hills of dumaguete philippines.
We set off on a 1 hour bike ride to dumaguetes twin lakes from our hotel in dauin area. The drive to twin lakes is amazing and really enjoyable. As you get to the hills near the waterfall you will see stunning views of the valleys and mountains and drive along a winding road through hills.
On arriving to twin lakes you will have to pay a small fee to enter which is around 50 pesos per person.
As you explore the national park area you will see breathtaking views of the lakes and forrest area. It really is a amazing place in dumaguete. You can walk between the lakes which takes about 20 minutes to walk or you can opt to get a boat which takes u most of the way for 250 pesos.
In the lake area there is a restraunt you can get drinks and food from to keep you going and they also have a viewin deck there that overlooks 1 of the lakes.
As we flew the drone around the lakes we see breath taking views and its amazingly beautiful from the air looking down. You just dont get the same images from the ground or appreciation for how amazing the lakes are.
We highly recommend coming here and would say its a amazing thing to do in dumaguete area.

0:05 When you’re working on small boats, especially in the big ocean, (we’re in the South China Sea now, we’re delivering a decommissioned rescue boat from Busuanga to Subic Bay in the Philippines), you need a certain number of tools, especially when you’re picking up a vessel that you don’t know, you’re taking it to another location, doing salvage diving, stuff like that.
0:26 You’ve got to carry a certain amount of tools on your person to get the work done, and for your survival.
0:33 One of the first things you need is a good compass on your waterproof watch because you always want to know where you’re going and where land is.
0:48 You need a good underwater flashlight, LED that lasts for a long time and also has a distress signal so that in case you do end up in the ocean, this is tied to you and you can maybe get help.
1:05 For sure, you always need a good lock-blade knife. For work, you’re under the water, if you’re on land, on the boat, you always need that.
1:18 One thing I like to have, a good waterproof case with a cell phone in it. Because again, if you end up in the water and you do get to shore, you’re going to want to call somebody, I guarantee that.
1:32 For working on the boat, I like a good set of polarized wrap-around sunglasses to protect my eyes. On these ones, I actually have bifocals because I’m old and I can’t read anymore and I don’t want to carry reading glasses.
1:46 And another new addition which I just discovered, and this is great for someone like me when you’re working in engine compartments and small tight spaces, I’m forever bumping my silly head. This is a ball cap but it’s also a hardhat. This has saved me a whole bunch of divots on this trip, I tell you what.
2:07 Just a few things I found that you really need on your person at all times. Because if things go bad, and the boat sinks, which is what boats do, and you’ve got to get off, you want to have the tools that you need to survive.

GETTING TO BATANGAS FROM MANILA (Must Watch Before You Travel)
Going to Batangas from Manila is not a big deal, It's just a 2 hour bus ride from Manila. The bus terminal is located in Buendia and the bus company is JAM Liner at Buendia Terminal Manila. You can buy bus ticket at the terminal, you don't have to book your ticket, the fare to Batangas port is P 168/-
The bus will drop you at the port, therefore you don't need to take any taxi or Jeepney after getting off the bus, you can just walk to the ticket counter and buy your ticket and go to inside the terminal..
I am from Pakistan, I love traveling and I have traveled to many countries..but my most favorite country is Thailand and then comes the Philippines, there are more 7 thousands beautiful,exotic and tropical islands in the Philippines. I have been to Thailand several times since 2010.
