Singapore Vacation Travel Guide | Expedia
Singapore has blossomed into one of the world’s great global cities. Getting to know this pocket powerhouse is a must for travelers seeking the blend between energy and tradition.
When ready, browse vacation packages to Singapore:
Small and heavily populated, #Singapore is an easy place to #explore; nothing in the city is more than an hour from the business district. Thanks to modern construction and outstanding architecture, Singapore is rapidly becoming a powerhouse trade city, but it maintains ties to its Asian roots through traditional temples and many cultural hotspots.
Your Singapore #tour must include the Botanical Gardens and Orchid Gardens, both beautiful and notable places to visit. If you’re a fan of exotic animals, stop by the Singapore Zoo and check in with its 300-plus species. You can also take a “bumboat” from Changi Beach to Pulau Ubin, set away from the bustling city, and delight in its quiet mangroves.
No Singapore #vacation is complete without a visit to Marina Bay, a glowing, high-tech vision of the future, or Orchard Road, which boasts enough shopping to keep you occupied for several rainy afternoons.
For now, we hope you enjoy watching this #travel #guide as much as we enjoyed making it.

Batu Kawa, Singai, and Bau Expedition - Borneo, Kuching, Sarawak
The outskirt of Batu Kawa, my friend is very good in direction, and he brings us to a waterfall where is just between the Mount Singai and Mount Matang. And this waterfall provide fresh drinking water to the villages nearby.
According to one of the local people there, he told me that there are a few waterfalls there. Which no signboard, or any proper roads to go, we will need the local people to bring us over.
In Kuching, as I know most of the outskirt area, the village people used water from mountain as their drinking water. So when on the dry session, some of them might not have enough water to use.
This is a very common thing which our government need to take note on, another thing is the deforest activities. Tress plays an important role in the ecosystem, and deforest is getting serious each day, the future of our children will be destroy by these people.
Please love our forest, start reforest project, and stop killing the animals in the forest.
TOP 10 Must-Eats in KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia
#travelcouple #foodtour #Malaysianfood
i can't believe our time in Kl has passed by so quickly, in these 6 very short days, we have fallen in love with this colorful city, and it's people, the amalgamation of cultures is evident not only in it's architecture but in it's unique and wonderful cuisine.
The diversity of cultures has created a gastronomic symphony of flavors with a unique blend of Chinese, Indonesian and Indian influences.
Our friends, Jimmy and Tah from divert living, have put together their own video, which is awesome.
take a few moments and check their video out if you already haven't
here's our top 10 favorite foods we came across in Kuala Lumpur..
and in no particular order
#1 Roti canai is an indian influenced flat bread.. (i'm famiiar with this tasts, as it reminds me of chapatis from back home kenya.. or the indian paratha
i don't know it if was just this place, but the roti was flaky and chewy all at the same time, and so so delicious.
# 2 Satay.. essentially meat on a stick, lots of countries have their own take on this.. and Malaysia is no exception. This is their version of this delicious delicacy .. it can be anything from beef, chicken, goat or even tofu cooked over a wood or charcoal fire, this is usually served with a peanut and soy sauce, although each vendor may have their own special sauce.. and we found the ones we tried to be a little sweet too
# 3 we most certainly can not forget our banana leaf curry experience in brickfields
# 4 chili pan mee.. this might have gotten it's influence from china, but this is most certainly malaysian..
# 5 the ramly burger has been sold on the streets of malaysia since 1979 It is estimated that there are over 25,000 Ramly Burger stalls nationwide, The companies aim has been developing a clean and good-quality halal Western fast-food chain in Malaysia.
seems like each vendor does it a little differently by adding their own unique spices and this guy has the burger in a yummy steamy envelope of egg
# 6 Cendol .. is an iced sweet dessert that contains droplets of worm-like green rice flour jelly, coconut milk and palm sugar syrup
# 7 Nasi lemak is a Malay fragrant rice dish cooked in coconut milk and pandan leaf it is the national dish of Malaysia and a must try if you visit Malaysia.. heck even if you don't.. google your nearest Malaysian restaurant and i am sure they will have this on their menu.. we had this several time on our trip,
we even went to a food stall which was great
but we found this spot just by our airbnb which we kept coming back to because it was so good
# 8 start your day the tea rifik way with tea tarik...
Teh tarik (literally pulled tea) is a hot milk tea beverage
#9 Durian
some people love it and some people hate it.. but they say it super tasty here in maaysia, give it a try if you are in malaysia.. and if you've had the frozen kind before and don't like it .. give it another chance.. it might surprise you
or not
#10 Bak chang
and then we came across these little pockets of delight.. which we have come to learn are called bak chang
