This trip is about exploring a lost lake Salaimendha Dam , which is 30 kms from Nagpur on Amravati Road , It is a Serene, peaceful and beautiful place. It is situated around 30 km away from Nagpur.
If you want to enjoy lazy Sunday morning, come here with a chair, mat and a novel. Very few people visit this place.
There is no restaurant or shop situated nearby. So pack your food before you leave. Amazing place for weekend fun with friends and family. No one would accept that there is such an beautiful place near nagpur city. The roads conditions are bad till destination. But it's worth as it leads to beautiful destination . No one can predict the roads which heads towards dam. This is an amazing hidden dam in between mountains Do visit ealry morning and get lost in nature.
Also there are no petrol pump nearby ,no stores,no people, &no network just enjoy the beauty of nature.

Gondia's neighbouring town TIRORA.. a glance.. 30 Kms from GONDIA and is Taluka place .Now this place is known and linked on the worlds map due to ADANI power Plant.. who is powering the state of Maharastra and also other states... Tirora is famous for its RICE production... developing fast, having good school facilities and well connected with railway (comes on Mumbai-Howara root) and roads with TUMASAR-BHANDARA & NAGPUR at one end and GONDIA-AMGAON-BALAGHAT at other end...Very hot in summer and cold (7 to 8 deg) in winter.. most of the crops are rain dependent, wainganga river flows through this area and the source of water for power plant. sometimes near by lakes connected with canal fulfill the supply of water for crops, things needed for survival are easily available... majority of people speak MARATHI. Hindi is another dominating language. During the construction of ADANI power plant many people from different parts of country and World landed in this place.
