'Let's Go' adventure through the many unique and diverse activities found throughout Peru.
In July, the Beautiful Destinations team went to Peru with 10 creators to explore & document different facets of Peru with the Luxury Collection. The intent was to bring together a diverse group of people in hopes that they could collaborate and learn from one another, to take something tangible home both from an experiential perspective and creative.
This video is a recap of that event, showcasing the diverse activities and locations experienced throughout the country. Great relationships were made and memories created that will last a lifetime.

Arequipa, Peru Travel Photography Vlog
On today's travel vlog in Arequipa, Jeff almost got himself arrested.

We made it to Arequipa early this morning. It's cool coming back to Arequipa as I used to both live here and run tours in the city. So, it's really fun to be back in a city I'm really familiar with.
Jeff and I ran around and did chores all morning, and then we took our travel photography workshop group to the Santa Catalina Monastery which is one of the most photogenic places in all of Peru. We took people around the monastery, shooting photos and working on composition and some advanced photography techniques.
After leaving Santa Catalina Monastery, we headed to the plaza de armas in Arequipa to photograph sunset. We went up to my classic spot above the plaza to shoot sunset and the blue hour. It's such a cool location, and the light was amazing.
I convinced Jeff to go stand on a rooftop that was apparently off-limits. We got a pretty cool photo, which is the thumbnail for this travel vlog, but Jeff got questioned by the police. We thought he might get arrested. Honestly, the images are so cool it probably would have been worth it.
Then, after photography in Arequipa's Plaza de Armas, we headed to dinner.
Tomorrow, there'll be another travel vlog from Peru. We're headed into the Colca Canyon. Stay tuned.

ANTIGUA FREE WALKING TOUR | Best coffee in Antigua, Guatemala
Antigua, Guatemala used to pretty much be the capital of Central America. It's also the perfect place to stay during your travel to Guatemala.
As I learned on my Antigua Free Walking Tour, most Guatemalans don't consider Antigua to be a part of Guatemala - even though it is, of course. You leave Antigua and you enter Guatemala. There are even signs!
Here are some of the sights in the city and other things to do in Antigua.
Food and drink are fairly inexpensive here, as you might expect. But if you decide to get a coffee in Antigua's Central Park, expect to pay for it! My favorite coffee was at Cafe Barista. Now, I'm sure there's FAR better coffee at a plantation, but this is the best I had of all the coffee I tried in the shops.
Don't hate me if there's a better brew. I'm sure there is. ☕
