Bluebell woods are becoming a rare treat these days, but in Hampshire, a few spots still exist for you to see. Take a walk through the Hampshire countryside and you may be pleasantly surprised.

Margam with Swansea Ramblers

Swansea Ramblers met up with neighbouring Ramblers from Neath Port Talbot for a 10 mile walk starting near the entrance to Margam Park that took us up onto the scenic hillside above the country park and further inland where a lot of the forest has been felled. We circled around and re-entered the deer park over a tall ladder stile. Here again we had good views as we approached the 'Bro' stone monument set high above the country park.

Swansea Ramblers enjoy short and long walks every week to explore the countryside while socialising and making new friends.

We have social events such as meals in local restaurants and weekends away, such as to the Cotswolds and Chester.
