1. CN Tower - Seeing Toronto from up in the sky? Done! Views are incredible.
2. Royal Ontario Museum - If you want to know a place better, you must go to the local museum. ROM would never disappoint you. It's not only about the Toronto area, but also exhibits other cultures.
3. Rogers Centre - Great stadium, with an amazing ball club. Atmosphere is great when Jays are winning. down seasons can tend to be more subdued. Recent great years again has sparked a new generation and atmosphere in the Dome.
4. Art Gallery of Ontario - This is a beautiful place with beautiful art. They have tour guides who take you round the place and give you information about everything there. There is a good cafe on the second floor but it doesn't offer much.
5. Casa Loma - What a beautiful castle in a beautiful location. Loved the hand held speaker phones that told about each of the rooms and exhibits.
6. Toronto Zoo - It was nice and quiet. The landscaping is incredible. The animals all looked in such good condition and very happy in their habitats.
7. St. Lawrence Market - In the heart of Old Toronto is one of the best food markets in North America. Where you will find the best meats, cheeses, produce and a million other items. It is also really good for lunch.
8. Entertainment District - A type of arts district with a high concentration of movie theaters, theatres or other entertainment venues.
9. Ripley's Aquarium of Canada - Highly recommended attraction. Excellent exhibits that are entertaining and educational. Lots of interactive displays. Great for adults (with or without children) and kids of all ages.
10. City Hall - Great place to sit and have lunch in the summer. In the winter, a fabulous place to skate with the family.
11. Eaton Center - Great place to shop until you drop
12. Distillery District - This is an amazing, inspiring, and unique place. Lots of restaurants with great food and museum-like small shops. A very interesting place. Loved it.
13. High Park - Great Fall colours at the Park. Hikes range from easy to more challenging.
14. Ontario Science Centre - Kids love spending time here
15. Toronto Islands - A great place too visit with family and friends
