Buildings that surround it include Notre-Dame Basilica, Saint-Sulpice Seminary, New York Life Building, Aldred Building, Bank of Montreal head office and 500 Place D'Armes.

Voici la deuxième vidéo tournée l’après-midi : toujours dans le Vieux Québec, nous allons cette fois visiter les alentours du château Frontenac et le quartier du Petit Champlain avant de faire une halte gourmande à l’excellente brasserie Les Frères de la Côte dont les plats ont ravi nos papilles. Nous profitons aussi de cette vidéo pour vous présenter l’hôtel Le Vieux Québec, où nous avons eu une superbe prestation durant le séjour.

During the month of March 2017, we spent a weekend in the city of Quebec.
We took the opportunity to vlog a little to share our trip with you!
Here is the second video which was shot during the afternoon. We remained in Old Quebec but walked about the Frontenac castle and the Petit Champlain district. Then, we could not resist a mouth-watering meal at the Les Frères de la Côte brasserie. In this video, we also present to you the Le Vieux Québec hotel where we enjoyed the high quality service during our stay.

Fairmont Chateau Laurier Nation's Capital Oldest Hotel in Ottawa
The Fairmont Château Laurier is a 660,000-square-foot hotel with 429 guest rooms in downtown Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, located near the intersection of Rideau Street and Sussex Drive and designed in the French Gothic Châteauesque style to complement the adjacent Parliament buildings. The hotel is above the Rideau Canal locks and overlooks the Ottawa River. The two buildings were connected with a tunnel. When the hotel first opened, private rooms cost $2 a night. The hotel features original Tiffany stained-glass windows and hand-moulded plaster decorations dating back to 1912.
Staying at the Fairmont Chateau Laurier was a magical experience. The staff were fantastic and the location/ambiance perfect! The hotel is like a castle and the staff go out of their way to make you feel special. Our room was very nice. We had a lovely view and the bed was very comfortable. Truly the most impressive aspect of this hotel is its location. From here you can easily walk to the Byward market (next door), the Rideau center (across the street), the Convention center (1 block away), Parliament (next door), the Nature museum (1 mile).
